Beautiful Hotel beautiful city
My Boyfriend and I just got back on friday we went for 5 nights 6 days and had an amazing time.. wish we stayed longer! the hotel is very modern reminds us of south beach, theres little seating areas every where very romantic and intimate. The pools and beach are fantastic however if you are thinking about just hanging out in the ocean thats not going to happen the water is very rough. So be careful our first day 2 people had to be rescued. You must book a trip with island reef they pick you up at the hotel and its about an hour drive to Farjardo where you get on an awesome boat and go snorkling then over to Culebra Flamenco Beach which is unreal gorgeous !! white sand gorgeous water. Flamenco beach was rated the third most BEAUTIFUL BEACH IN THE WORLD and we can see why !!! the excursion was from 7am to 5pm 114$ per person and an absolute steal ! bc a cab from san juan to Farjardo was 90$ and the excursion included everything and as much rum as you can consume ! and they feed you too.. the food is nothing to brag about but we were there to snorkel and enjoy the beach and water. I can not forgot the crew they were fantastic so much fun !! and the supply you with masks snorkels and flippers and show you how to use them as well. Back to San Juan there are restaurants and bars every where and you can walk every where super safe lots of police so your fine ! we ate some where new everyday. There's also a walgreens down my advice would be buy beer and a cooler and use it at the beach which you are allowed to do just pour the beers into a cup and your good to go unless you want to pay 10$ for 1 beer and wait an hour to get it bc the waiter staff on the beach is kinda slow well really slow. But all and all we'd def go back also check out Old San Juan they have great local restaurants and bars cabs like 15$.

Great Resort!
Great atmosphere, pools and beach are beautiful and always open unlike most other places which close down. The food at the poolside bar and the drinks are excellent. Staff is helpful. Oceanfront view was better than we even expected.

Great Vacation
Great hotel great staff great food and drinks! The location is fantastic and if you are looking for a trendy upscale place La Concha is it! Plenty of bars in the area but you might not want to leave the lobby bar which has live music and then a DJ turning it into a lounge/club atmosphere at night. It has dim lighting and feels more like an upscale VIP lounge than a hotel lobby. I definatly recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

Rent a car for the day to see the rainforest. It was way cheaper for 2 than booking a tour. Plus it gave us our own timeline to take as long or short a trip as we wanted. I had the concierge set it up and the rental company picked us up from the hotel, and then returned us when we returned the car.

girls vacation
the bell man were amazing, friendly and helpful in every way. The concierge was not as helpful. We were told we had a room reserved with 2 queens beds and when we got upstairs we had a king bed for 3 grown women. Our only option was to use a pull out sofa bed which was horrible and uncomfortable. Due to fine print on our voucher stating beds were not guaranteed, we had no recourse and were very disappointed and were unable to switch rooms. We were comped breakfast which was nice, however sleeping on a sofa bed on vacation ruined "fantasy" of being away.

Fantastic spot on the beach
A 10 minute cab ride from the airport. La Concha is fantastic. The staff is so helpful and the hotel is beautiful. Its right on the beach and not crowded. You'll see a lot of weddings. Just be aware that check-in is at 4pm.

Destination Wedding
I had my wedding at La Concha and it's a great scene overall. The hotel was fully booked that weekend so some people had trouble getting the rooms that they requested, but the staff did try to be as accommodating as possible. Lots of life in the lobby bar/restaurant and in the pools. Great beach access. Definitely get an ocean view if it is possible, and I would recommend against getting a suite- the tower suite tends to have the worst views.
