great budget
was great for budget the staff are great . The room ac staff is great hot waterworks great hotwater last for the three of us back to back. Room serviceis great everyday they clean , cable and wifi.breakfast everyday the same Spanish oatmeal, pastries.. there was never no one at the pool.the beach is across the street. Car rental 1 block away ($500 hold deposit) + $8 a day to park at the hotal. a lot of amercan foor ( kfc, taco bell, chillies, pizza hut ) there is a rrestaurant in the hotal that is great if you want spanish food walk to block up on ur right.. (mI casa something like that name..5 min away from airport.. if you want cash back go to walgreens .. at the atm it $5 fee.

Good location
Good location, close to beach, shopping, restaurants etc. Decent, average, clean place to sleep. Continental breakfast include coffee, juice and toast/croissant!

Exciting view, great location
We spent only one night at the hotel because we wanted to visit family before heading to our final destination. The hotel room was like all other HoJos including the fact that the AC was set at a very low temperature. Unlike at other HoJos, the temperature control did not seem to work. We had to turn off the AC so we would not freeze in a tropical island! The restaurant at the top of the building where breakfast is served was great with a 180 degree view that included the ocean side and the island side. Our room faced the island side and we enjoyed seeing the airplanes come in for a landing, and the clouds roll over the mountains, and the rain falling in sections, and the traffic flowing below us.

Excellent location for the price!
The hotel was excellent for the price. The parking accomodations was also excellent for the price. It was a last minute decision and it worked out great! Staff was very helpful, they could never do enough for you. Overall, excellent experience.

Good digs for the price
This hotel is great for the price. It has convenient access to the beach and the rooms were well-equipped and clean. The place is a little run down and some people in the party complained of a musty smell, but we didn't spend much time in the hotel. So it was fine over-all. Breakfast comes with the room, but it's pretty meager, so I usually went to the Starbucks in the El San Juan hotel a few blocks away. NOTE: Some of the rooms don't have windows! Luckily I read reviews before I booked, so I made sure to reserve the rooms with windows.
