Holiday Inn Express SAN JUAN

Friendly staff. Good location in Condado near beach and old San Juan.

The location is perfet, so close to the beach. the room is clean but a bit small. Unfortunately, some staff can't speak english

Was there for a convention at San Juan Convention Center (5-8 min tops from the hotel) the staff was very helpful, only problem is the parking but was able to get a spot right in front of hotel. Close to restaurants on Ashford Ave. all were walking distance from hotel. Room was clean and had everything I would expect from a Holiday Inn Express Stateside. Overall for the price and location close to Ashford Ave. in Condado area I was very pleased and would definitely return.

The hotel is walking distance from Ashford ave. where amazing restaurants, bars, and (high-end class)shops are located. The beach is 5 minute walk and public transportation is accessible. The price of this hotel is great for their location.

The hotel location is great, close to restaurants and bars and beach with great view. I am generally happy with most of it, yet the internet connection was terrible. Wifi signal is very unstable and the situation didn't get improved during my 5-day trip, even though we complained to the receptionist. Considering the price, it is pretty good in other aspects.

I was in San Juan for a week on business. It all started at check in. The room type I had reserved was unavailable and they offered me a smoking room, "umm sorry, not going to happen". So I accepted a different type, not what I wanted but, "no big deal", I could live with that. I mentioned that I had a vehicle and I needed to park my car. No parking was available. They have a limited amount of spaces with no priority or true control. If someone checked in after I did and needed a parking space (and one had just become available) they would give it to that person, regardless if you were on the "list." I checked everyday with front desk and received a different story. Parking was IMPOSSIBLE. So I finally got to my room. The floor hallway had a peculiar smell, kind of thick, mucky & humid odor. To make maters worse, the wireless Internet was weak and intermittent. I honestly felt like leaving but the hotel was very well priced. I guess I received what I paid for! Not to be so harsh, in essence the hotel was nice and the rooms were clean, though it was that time again to receive the friendly visit from "Mr. Fumigator." Let's just leave it at that. The pool area was beautiful though unfortunately I didn't get to use it and breakfast was very good. Close but no cigar.

Hotel located in Condado just a block from a small beach. Staff was helpful and hotel/rooms were clean. Breakfast was included. There is a samll pool with partial sun, but there is no lounge or outdoor seating otherwise. Room windows don't open. There is construction across the street from the hotel contributing to some congestion and extra noise. My single room was off of the lobby and breakfast room making it loud and dark. The bus into San Juan did not appear to run regularly. There is not much to see/do in Condado.

We were taking this trip to relax and enjoy a week away. My daughters first time and I wanted her to have a good experience. The hotel was in a good location but I do not think I would stay in it again. Everything was good with the check-in and out, everyone was very nice. The problem I had with the hotel was the rooms are very small, bathroom you could not turn around in, no refrigerator in the rooms. A couple nights I had to go to the front desk to have them send toilet paper up to the room. Housekeeping should check that each day. The other problem was to get ice you had to go to the main lobby to get ice. If you need ice and are not dressed you would need to get dressed to go downstairs. No ice machines on the floors, not good. I was not happy with these things no being more excessable.

Because we are not spanish speaking travelers, we were not as sure of ourselves as many might be. Your Staff was helpful and kind, directing us to eating places, helping us with taxies. Doing everything for us in a very nice manner. We had only short time frame to see things in San Juan. but with help from staff and others we were able to visit Old San Juan. That was a beautiful tour. We were able to do it on our own thanks to their help.

This hotel was very cheap and well located in San Juan--Parking is a bit of a nightmare but that seemed to be the case in most of San Juan. The pool looked nice but I never stopped there because a decent beach is less than a 10 minute walk away. The breakfast is decent and included in the already reasonable price, which is very nice. The internet was horrible though.
