The beautiful setting of the Caribe Hilton in San Juan, Puerto Rico, is one of the main draws for travelers. The Caribe Hilton features incredible ocean views and its own private beach. The hotel also has lagoons and tropical gardens on the property that serve as natural habitats for local fish, birds and plants.

Traveling with kids is extremely easy when staying at Caribe Hilton. All children are able to stay at the hotel for free, and they host games and activities every day at Paradise Kids Club.

Location
Just a 15 minute drive from Luis Munoz Marin International Airport (SJU), the hotel sits between historic Old San Juan with its cultural galleries, restaurants and boutiques, and trendy Condado with the beautiful Condado Lagoon. Adventurous and sporty types can test their skills at watersports on nearby sandy beaches. Go further afield to the El Yunque Rainforest to explore and enjoy the tropical ambience.

Highlights

While the area surrounding the Caribe Hilton in San Juan has some great Puerto Rican restaurants, the hotel has several dining options if you are looking for something different. You can indulge in fine Italian cuisine at Il Giardino La Trattoria. Asian-fusion food is available at Lemongrass Pan Asian Latino, and classic American cuisine can be eaten at Morton's Steakhouse. Palermas Restaurant serves some of the best breakfast in the city.

Quick meals are available from Quiznos Subs. Appetizers, entrees and desserts are available from room service.

Olas Spa in the Caribe Hilton is a great spot to get a massage, hair cut or natural skin treatment. The spa fills up very quickly, so it is recommended to make a reservation before arriving.

Policies
The Condado Lagoon Villas offer breathtaking views of the lagoon to guests, from private balconies.

The hotel can help with planning sightseeing tours; check with the concierge prior to arriving to plan these details and eliminate itinerary stress.

Business Trip

In our room, the fixtures (Toilet and Shower) had to be fixed two (02) days in a row. The Coffee Maker was very dirty. The grounds were loaded with insects, and my legs, arms, and face had insect bites. I had to take a cab to the Walgreens to get Medication. The lobby is the worse, I have ever seen. No fans, open and very hot. Waiting to check in and out was totally unbearable, due to the Lobby conditions. I would never stay there again. Lack of restaurants. Should have had a Buffet or Dining Room instead of one (01) Fast Food (Quizos)

Business, tried a new place

the Hilton Tower is not a good place to be! They moved me to the garden wing after the A/C didn't . the door didnt close and the bathroom flooded! BUT I needed to demand the manger to make it happen. very disappointing for a Hilton!

Great place to stay for all ages

I love the location, beaches, and amenities. I wished that there were more food choices. The staff is very nice. There is a convenience store, where a big bag of Doritos would cost you $6.42!

concierge is corrupt

The hotel is beautiful but the concierge will only book you with companies they get a kick-back from, even if other companies that do the same thing are free. For example, I wanted to do the bioluminescent tour of the area and they told me it was booked. A local actually booked me a different trip. It turned out there were tons of available spots, just not with a company that gives the hotel a kick-back. They also charge you a $30.00 a night fee that they don't tell you about until check-out.

Great stay

We traveled there for a conference (conveniently at the beach), and had some unfortunate weather, so we were cooped up in the hotel for a good amount of time. Fortunately, the hotel staff was EXTREMELY nice, our rooms were very comfortable and clean. Would definitely stay there again.
