San Juan hotel located in the airport and near beaches and shopping
No San Juan hotel is more convenient to the airport than this one. The Best Western San Juan Airport Hotel & Casino is the only hotel in the airport, just an escalator ride away from airline check-in. The hotel also lies within striking distance of area beaches, the popular Condado shopping district and Old San Juan. Intimate guest rooms are modern with high-speed wired and wireless Internet. The hotel has a business center, a fitness center, a sun deck, two hot tubs and an on-site sushi bar. Guests enjoy a complimentary continental breakfast.

Great location to the airport
We took a cruise and stayed overnight to catch our flight the next morning. The location was very good for that. The hotel was average. The standard room was small but adequate for a one night stay. The elevator was a bit slow so be prepared to wait. There was a small spa area with chairs and two hot tubs that was nice if you had time to sit around. The airport food places close at 6 and the bistro in the hotel is ok. for a quick bite. Wendy's is across the street. Breakfast was ok to get something in your stomach before heading out to airport. I would stop here again for the convenience of the airport. Flat screen tv in room, bed was comfortable.

Great for departing flight, but.
Our check in time was supposed to be 3:00 p.m., but we had to wait until after 4:00 p.m. to get into the second room we reserved. Three $50 hold charges were placed on our credit cards, two on one room and one on a different card for the other. We asked why and were told it was for "incidentals" and they would be removed as soon as we checked out if there were no phone charges, etc. Two days later they are still on our cards. If they don't get removed by tomorrow we will need to call the cards to contest them. The "full breakfast" indicated on the website listing turned out to be a continental one with a warm hard boiled egg.

Excellent location for late arrival at San Juan. Half of rooms are facing airport runway. We can hear noise of taking off.

Convenient Location
This hotel is located right in the San Juan Airport. Its physical location made leaving on an 8:00 a.m. return flight to the mainland very convenient. Hot tub and continental breakfast was included in the price.

good layover
Very convenient if you don't want to leave the airport. The bistro inside the hotel has better food than the nearby places inside the airport. The entrance has steps, and an alternative entrance is not well marked. The TV is tiny for the room and about 20 feet from the bed if that is where you watch it. It should be a larger screen, or the orientation should be changed. If you like to read in bed, this is not your hotel because the lamp shades are too dark for the bulbs. Breakfast is very good, and is included in the price of the room. There is a business center, but the number of computers is small for the number of guests, so bring your own and use the free WiFi.

Overall my experience was good. Everyone was great as well as the food. I didn't like the fact that I had a car rental and it would costs too much to park in the airport garage. I ended up taking the vehicle back early so I would not have to pay parking fees. Also the room was so cold even after turning the air off it was still cold. Spent most of the night trying to be warm. Future visits will be here since it is in the airport.

Right inside the airport, great location. 10 minute ride to Isle Verde. clean room, a bit on the smaller end, but otherwise good breakfast. business room with computers and printer.
