Friendly San Juan hotel offers relaxed atmosphere on Condado Beach
The Atlantic Beach Hotel is located on Condado Beach in the midst of the dynamic Condado district. With fewer than 40 rooms, this hotel is the only small hotel right on the beach. The Atlantic has two lively patios. One is shaded with a bar, tables and chairs overlooking Condado Beach. The other is an open patio with lounge chairs. They ask for a 200 dollar deposit and there rooms are the size of my closet .......its more like a cheap motel then a hotel........dont do it to your self

It is right on the beach with almost all day happy hour bar in very nice location. There is construction going on and it starts as early as 7am! Otherwise, comfortable, friendly and great deal . We like to come back after the construction is over.

Don't stay at this hotel.
Excellent location, horrible value. Staff acted like it was an effort to even acknowledge my presence at the hotel, let alone treat me as a paying guest. Upon entering the hotel I was asked to sign a blank credit card form - I was not comfortable with that as anyone could apply unlimited fees to the card. Parking was additional. Parking meant, they would park my car out on the street. My rental car was hit by another car backing up which cracked the rear brake light. Ironically as I was informing the front desk about not being happy to pay their parking fee - a hotel employee side swiped the car at that exact moment. The rooms were about 10 x 11' long. I felt like I was in a college dorm. The bathroom was about 5' x 4', which included a toilet, shower and sink - how? I don't know???? The air conditioning was controlled by the front desk in the rooms. Therefore I could not adjust the temperature to my liking. If you like sleeping at 80 degrees (no exaggeration) - then you'll be fine with the existing temperature the hotel has the a/c set at. For me, it was very uncomfortable and barely a relief from spending the days outdoors in PR's wonderfully warm climate. Overall, my experience was terrible. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. And yes, even after the employee swiped my car - they still charged me for parking!

Great time
The hotel is right on the beach. Happy hour was from 12 noon to 11pm $ 3.75....:-) I had a great time with my friends. I would go back!!!

boo boo and hoppy
Mother,daughter getaway.
The location is good near to all shops and restaurants.The hotel is basic,we got clean towels every day and our beds were made which i was surpised after reading other reviews,the staff on the front desk were not very friendly yes we asked a few questions and got very short answers.

Amazing time
Great to be on the beach
The hotel itself was nice from the inside you wouldn't have known from the outside but the rooms are a good size and very nice interior the beds were comfy! The staff was friendly didn't really interact much with them unless necessary but even then they were very good people. The beach right outside is the best part they have a nice lounging area on the back patio as well as a bar with happy hour from 12pm-11pm which is great when your on vacation or nights that you don't want to go out! Plenty of good restaurants little boutiques and an amazing casino a block away! Easy acces to old San Juan and plenty of things to do around the area! Definitely recommend this hotel for anyone looking for an inexpensive but great hotel to stay at!

The 21 bus takes you to old San juan for 75 cents instead of paying a cab! Also walk along the beach for a great view of other things off the beach!

Amazing time
Perfect couples getaway
This place was amazing my fiancé and I went for 5 nights! We got there early and at no extra charge we checked in, the beach right behind the hotel was gorgeous especially to go walk on at night! It's near great restaurants as well as the casino a block away and a bar with a long happy hour right in the hotel! The only thing I would add to it is room service and continental breakfast! The rooms and staff were great I would definitely stay there again

Great authentic puerto rican restaurants all around!! Also great little boutiques to shop at! The food at places like Orozco restaurant had us coming back atleast four more times on our trip! Their breakfast is also phenomenal. Being a tourist spot some things are rather expensive but well worth the money! Also look up wow surfing school they also have jet skiing paddle board and surfing of course! Great tourist to take u all around San Juan! An

we get to the hotel and not only are we charged more the rooms are extremly tiny. The parking situation was horrible, they tell you they charge 10 dollars a day for parking but theres never parking you had to park on the sidewalk and let them park it for you when something came up. I had drunk people knock on our doors at late times, and to top it off the room was warm and no way to change the temp on your own. Only thing this place has going for them that they are on the beach and they are surrounded by many businesses.
