Beautiful Boutique Hotel

I stayed at the Acacia with two girlfriends (in our late 20's) and it was perfect for us. The room was a little small but enough room for a small spare mattress ($25 extra per night for 3rd person), and it had a wrap-around patio. It was on the best beach that we visited on the trip - mostly locals, pretty wild surf but still swimmable (no lifeguard). The Inn's jacuzzi is awesome, and the rooftop is neat for sitting and chatting, enjoying the breeze. The pool at the Wind Chimes Inn, the sister property less than a block away, is also beautiful. We didn't eat at the hotel's restaurant because it was too expensive, but the coffee in the mornings was very good. As for the service, everyone was very friendly, and one woman behind the desk in particular was extremely helpful. They will hook you up with a great tour of the rainforest or whatever you want to do, based on availability - check that out early to get the one you want! We did it last minute and still got a really great tour. I would stay here again for sure, I highly recommend it. It would be very romantic for couples. Note, however, that when you pick the type of room you want it is a "request" and not a "guarantee."

Kamoli Cafe is a great unique spot nearby for a little thrift shopping, dining, and drinking. Their french toast with Nutella and strawberries is to die for! Ask them about cool events and nightlife happening around town.

Nice getaway for couples.

Great location. Great jacuzzi. Nice rooms. Friendly staff. However, linens are old with stains, front desk is not always attended, no mini fridge in room. No free breakfast. Overall, a cute little nook, the sister hotel "At Wind Chimes Inn," also looked nice, and we could use the pool there.

Go to the Supermax around the corner to buy groceries and a styrofoam cooler for your "continental breakfast" in the room.

Nice Small Hotel

My wife and I just got back from our stay at Acacia. The hotel is in an excellent location situated on the outskirts of Condado. Easy walking distance to restaurants, nightlife and the beach. The room was small, but well appointed. The rattan furniture is a nice touch, giving it a tropical feel. The bathroom is large for its size and the terra cotta shower was roomy. We could hear the Coqui frogs at night with the windows open and the breeze blowing into the room. The staff was extremely helpful with transportation and locating places to eat or visit. Beach chairs and towels are available at the front desk for use at the beach a mere one minute walk from to hotel. The citrus water was delicious and we usually filled a bottle before heading out. Lastly, the hotel restaurant Niche is outstanding. The food was fantastic. The waitstaff was superb and Hector made a wonderful Mojito and Champagne spritzer. Overall a nice vacation experience.

Peaceful, Friendly, Walk to Everything you need!

I started laughing in joy as I was shown around and into my room... So BEAUTIFUL. The beach is right outside and is never crowded, as this seems to be more of a residential area. Fantastic LOCAL RESTAURANTS:) as well as starbucks and such, all a short walk. Hotel restaurant, Niche', is very good (get the whole snapper;), but not always open. I'd recommend hitting up the grocery store for snacks on the beach. Not much 'night life' in this area .... but I was here to escape that scene! Staff are really cool! helpful, friendly, and laid back. Type of people I'd be friends with if I lived here.

Perfect getaway!!

What a treat!! Beautifully restored hacienda a half block from the beach. Our room was very comfortable, with lovely terra cotta tiled bathroom and a private balcony. Very comfortable. Hotel nicely decorated with a beautiful sunning deck on the roof and a huge tiled outdoor hot tub/jacuzzi with ocean views. Niche restaurant. is on the first floor...we enjoyed a first rate breakfast and dinner. Staff extremely helpful.

Great beach, private and cozy

Acacia is to the southeast of the main commercial zone in Condado but within short and easy walk. The beach was more open and less crowded her in Ocean Park, and the neighborhood more residential and quiet. Hotel was cute, with a lot of character, room was nice, great balacony, bathroom was fine. The jacuzzi-pool was gorgeous. Had a great time, liked the location and staff.

Very Fine Boutique Hotel

My wife and I celebrated our 25th anniversary at this wonderful boutique hotel prior to taking a southern caribbean cruise. The high ceilings, ceramic floors, huge jacuzzi, beautiful balconies, and the best mojitos in San Juan make this a hotel one most pleasurable experiences of our trip. [...] the Hotel Director, met our taxi out front, and provided us with his undivided attention the entire time for the best restaurants and night clubs in San Juan. We were allowed to check out, store our luggage at the front desk, enjoy a day at the beach, and then come back to the hotel, shower, pick up our luggage and then [...] called a taxi for us to the port. I would highly recommend this hotel without reservation.

A tasteful boutique experience

We spent 4 nights here and overall had a lovely time. The standard rooms are small but clean and don't have a view. The hotel has a interesting quaint design with modern touches. the location was perfect, we were only a 15 mins drive away from old san Juan, and 5 mins from restaurants and cafes in condado. also loved having the beach so close by. all the hotel staff are friendly and helpful with planning activities. if you want a reasonable, tasteful place that's well located, acacia is a great option.

Wonderful Acacia Seaside Inn

I had dinner with my husband twice at this hotel and we had breakfast. All food was great, but portion of food is quite small. The hotel was much better than pictures on website! The hotel was clean and cozy. Condado beach was so beautiful in the morning because there are lots of people in the afternoon. It's 10 mins away from the San Juan air port by taxi.
