Very beautiful
Nothing to do there, rough beach, cloudy snorkeling,bar was slow, no waiters, remote, rental cars where gone, Really slow and poor dinner service, couldn't make reservations till the restaurants opened. Very clean, grounds were well kept and beautiful. Probably won't go back

good relaxing fun resort
We stayed for 5 nights.The resort is huge ....within the resort there are 4 restaurants. The restuarants have pretty neat ambience but food wasnt great. I loved it inside the resort ...they have many relaxing places with couches and canopies like structures, water fountains....huge swimming pool, good gym , spa was very good though pricey. There wasnt much of a beach, only a small stretch which was good enough for us as we are not much of a water person. If you wanted to go the beach, Luquillo beach is like 10 mins away. El Yunque Rainforest is also 10mins away. The main road is lke 4 mins from the resort so there is nothing near by the resort unless you go to the main road (highway 3). Overall it was fun relaxing true resort experience. The vacation was very relaxing for us. I would recommend you rent a car if you want stay at this palce.

Wonderful experience
My stay there was my second and I look forward to my 3rd. I really enjoy staying there. I had room with a garden view. And it was next to the beaccch and in front of a pool and a bar with food service. The room as usual was fantastic, very nice and of curse very clean.

There is this restaurant-- La Terraza its on Rio Mar Blvd. and it is well worth the drive to it. And the Rio Mar Wynham has a really nice casino. Its on the same road as the restaurant

Security was cordial and helpful Had to pay for parking, is a no go!! The resort has a beach, but one cannot swim it is surrounded by rocks! I had to commute to a beach near hotel. NO GOOD! Room was ample and comfortable. Walls need to be noise proof I was able to hear party next door and couldnt sleep all night!

Weeekend trip
The rooms are far from the restaurants and the main pool. there is not an ice machine on each building, in which you have to walk a lot, even to get ice. Apparently there arae other pools for upgrade clients in which I was not notified. My daughter was using another pool at within the same hotel and was told she couldnt be there. Ridiculous !!! The sofa bed was broken. Parking is an extra $15/day. On a Saturday night the main bar closed at midnight. Definetly wont go back.

Standard Family Getaway
Checking in was exhausting. It took us about two hour to get checked in. There were only two front desk reps working during check in, (seriously slow). We had cranky tired kids. Got there at 3 and didn't get into our room until 5pm. No complimentary drinks or snacks while waiting either! The bell/golf cart attendees were great. Saw us with with our kids and offered us a ride every time. Fitness facility was good. But the room service, food, drinks and everything else had a charge and was very expensive and you got hardly any food with it. Paid $35 for two small cheese pizzas (what). Now, I observed and experienced that the staff that were originally from the states were very friendly and helpful, versus the locals in which I found were more introverted compared to customer service. The hotel was ok, but I will only recommend that if you go with kids get a room with a kitchenette and buy food at grocery down the road. Don't stay at the hotel and make plans to go outside the hotel. It rained a lot so plan ahead for other activities and bring and buy your own drinks as it cost an arm and a leg to eat and drink there daily. I will also suggest the hotel to consider those who go with young/small kids and be more helpful and accommodating.

Good family getaway
Good hotel. Rooms need a dehumidifier and dryer given how humid it is. Meals are very expensive. Staff needs to be incentivized better. If you rent a car, do it at the hotel with the hotel rate (as it's much, much lower and comes with free parking at the hotel)

Try the BioBay, Zipline and RainForest hikes. All worth it. But don't bother booking at the hotel. Just book on site.
