Royal Isabela is both homage to the royal and ancient game of golf and a story about the love of land. Blessed with stunning Atlantic views, dramatic cliffs and lush Caribbean landscape, Royal Isabela presents an epic backdrop for a sporting lifestyle. Inspired by the incredible natural beauty of the site, the Puerto Rican Pasarell brothers collaborated with architect David W. Pfaff to shape the landscape into a links-style course that is quietly garnering accolades as one of the most spectacular courses to open in years.
Twenty freestanding Casitas are true little houses designed for the ultimate Puerto Rico Vacation. Each Casita encompasses 1,500 square feet of indoor and outdoor space and is sited to best catch Royal Isabela's stunning ocean vistas with minimal impact to the environment. They also feature an airy living room and bedroom with natural wood floors and ceilings, as well as a generously sized bathroom with separate tub and large shower room that also opens to a private deck.
Luxurious amenities include two LCD TVs, wet bar, Frette linens and robes, and Gilchrist & Soames bath products, complimentary high-speed Internet access and your own private plunge-pool. Royal Isabela also offers daily housekeeping, in-room dining, room service, complimentary transportation around the property and nightly turndown service.
Set on one of Royal Isabela's highest elevation to best catch gentle breezes and gorgeous Atlantic views, La Casa reposes in perfect harmony with its idyllic Caribbean setting. Here, guests enjoy the amenities of a fine golf resort and the ambience of a private country club from the comfort of charming Casitas.
As advocates of both slow food and locavore movements, we combine classic European cooking techniques with Puerto Rican ingredients to create the Restaurant's signature farm-to-table cuisine. The menu spotlights our very own vegetables, herbs and fruits, as well as the bounty from local fishermen, cheese makers and small family farms.
In addition to The Restaurant at La Casa, Royal Isabela's, The Bar is another venue that includes an open-air bar with sweeping golf course and ocean views, serving wines, beers, cocktails and tapas.
Terraces, patios and other outdoor settings invite you to stop for a moment to bask in the sunshine, breathe in the fragrance of the higerillo trees and search for constellations in the starry sky.

The Restaurant at La Casa
Each morning, our Chef visits Royal Isabela's Organic Farm to see what the good earth has given us. Only then does he plans the day's menu at the Restaurant. As advocates of both slow food and locavore movements, we combine classic European cooking techniques with Puerto Rican ingredients to create the Restaurant's signature farm-to-table cuisine. The menu spotlights our very own vegetables, herbs and fruits, as well as the bounty of local fishermen and small farms. Our philosophy is simple: real food, cooked with real heat.
The intimately sized restaurant features eight tables inside and more outside on the terrace overlooking the Ocean and the Golf Links. From the terracotta roof made and century-old handmade tiles to wrought-iron chandeliers, Oriental rugs and mahogany tables, it exudes Spanish Colonial charm. The airy space encourages a leisurely dining experience, beginning with a stop at the bar facing a brick oven, where addictive wood-fired pizzas are made to order.
