Golden Sands Villas, in the sleepy seaside town of Dorado, less than a 30-minute drive from San Juan, offers an oceanfront setting with palm trees, beaches, tennis courts, and an 18-hole signature golf course. Families, golfers, and honeymooners alike enjoy numerous amenities, including a pool, restaurants, and recreational facilities shared with the adjoining Embassy Suites Hotel, located on the same grounds of the Golden Sands Golf and Beach Resort.

- The Studio unit offers a kitchenette with utensils, 2 full size beds in the room, private bathroom with shower and tub combination; color High Definition Cable TV, safe in the room and a small furnished balcony.(We recommend no more than 2 adults for this room)

- The One bedroom villa offers a fully equipped kitchen, has one separate room with its own King size bed and a sofa sleeper in living area; private bathroom with a whirlpool and a shower. - The two bedroom villa offers everything you could think for a family. It offers a fully equipped kitchen for 6 people. luv the sopt nice beach, pool was great holte was very clean, staff was real good with you, pool was clean all the time room was clean new towel that was a good then ac was very good and cold luv that the olny then that suck was you had to pay for paking it was $12.00 night it not bad if you stay the weeken but i stay 2 week so it add up it should be free. if you stay that long ther . and the sea houres bar need to be open lonnger hours like that u can have a drink and food late night i saw a lot of pelope looking for drinks and food the guys was like we close got to wait to the other hotle to open ther bar or go out to eat or drinks the gate to get in they should have a card to get in or a pass i had to tell them were i was going what hotle name it was wait to they find your name you had to do that everty time you go in but in all ill be comen back angin sopt nice spot.

Military mom and son
Great location, beautiful hotel.
Great location, great security, beach and pool were wonderful, beds very comfortable, with everything we needed. Only problem was that the rooms were too cold--thermastat didn't change temperature, so we finally had to turn it off most of the time, but then the marble walls and floors and everything got damp w/o the air conditioner on. Also, the housekeepers would clean the rooms but forget to change and bring clean towels--had to call 3 days for towels. Was nice to have a kitchen. Would definitely come again and recommend.

the room was average, but fantastic view from the balcony. The only thing is , they need to clean the bathroom , carpet floor and chair sofa because i saw staining and smell bad.

Beautiful escape from life
From the desk clerk to the maids, from the room to the pool and beach - absolutely amazing! The maids were extremely helpful when we needed more time before letting them in to clean. The desk clerks always had a smile on their face and had answers to all of our questions. The room was amazing, king size bed, awesome view from the balcony! The problems . . . washer was hooked up backwards so the colored clothes got hot water (not good) and the ice maker and water in the fridge door were not functioning. Wonderful place to stay!

Shopping tip:
Long walk from hotel
With a full kitchen, we needed to stock up on groceries. We did not rent a car so had to make the walk then carry the groceries back. I would recommend renting a car for a couple of days so you could get that shopping out of the way and go see old San Juan.

Perfect price, perfect for a family
Location was the best! Price was amazing as well. The kitchen appliances were a bit rusty but for the price I won't complain!

It was easy to check in nd out Clean nice room Wonderful pool Nice view from the beach Great staff very helpful But i think the pool bar should open a lil bit later Dont like that the u have to pay parking And maybe can get better tv's in room The food was not the best but not bad either

The hotel was really good, right by the beah, beautiful pool area and other amenities...only thing was the room was different to what it was booked in the first place but still roomy and comfortale.

Relaxing spot for winter break.
Good service. However, we suggest that Orbiz give better directions in finding it. The Embassy beside it was well advertised, but there was no signs for Golden Sands and a different name was on the hotel. It was very hard to find at 1 A.M. in the rain.

Dorado hotels
My wife & I had a very pleasant stay at the Goden Sands.Rooms were average,but the pool was great! The staff was very attentive and polite. I would stay there again when in Dorado. It's about 40 minutes to the airport.
