Housed in a historic building, centrally located right on the Avenida dos Aliados which is less than 20 minutes from the airport and 20 meters from metro station. The hotel offers 2 suites and 41 bright and airy rooms with wooden floors, 19 of which with balcony and city views. All rooms feature antique-style furnishings and marble bathrooms. They are equipped with air conditioning, hairdryer, wireless internet, telephone, radio and 30 channels satellite TV International. To make your stay more complete, Caf-Restaurant Guarany, in the same building, serves traditional Portuguese cuisine throughout the day. The hotel also has at its disposal and meeting room, Wi-Fi prepaid, free newspapers, 24 hour reception, lounge, bar and breakfast room. The hotel also has a laundry service, multilingual staff, tourist information, car rental, transfer service from the airport and the public car park 20mts. An ideal place for guests who are looking to stay in the city center.

Location exceptional, with Tourist

Location exceptional, with Tourist Information, ATMs, mailbox and eateries all within a couple of minutes walk and the old town just 10 minmutes away. Staff were excellent and facilities all great quality. Highly recommend this for budget-minded senior travellers.

Reasonable

Very well located. Friendly staff. The room is overall clean, but the washroom was very small and untidy. Some equipment was brocken (door handle, toilet seat...) and we ask to replace a bulb and this wasn't done in 2 days.

Pictures of rooms shown on their website - are not what you get unless you ask for. Got a room next to receptioin - very loud at times. Otherwise - good location.

I will not recommend this hotel

I will not recommend this hotel to anyone. The room was extremely noisy and very small, and there were hair in the shower and other leftovers from the last guest. The first night I could not sleep due to the noise from the traffic. When I arrived I was told not to do my laundry in my room or bring friends and family to the room, which I thought were rather rude since I certainly did not plan on doing either of those things. The breakfast was just bread and croissants with jam. Most of the staff was neither helpful, nor friendly.

Personnel de jour

Déçu par l accueil de la réceptionniste de jour . Chambre petite mais surtout male insonorisée avec des fenêtres fermant males. Petit déjeuner correct . Propreté correcte. Emplacement sur la place de la liberté bien.

Mauvais achat

Bruyant, mal isolé, environnement vieillot !!! Accueil très très moyen. Il manquait même l'au revoir à la fin du séjour.
