excellent location
The location was the most important criterion for me (close to Madeira friends houses); otherwise I would not recommend this hotel. Not really value for money. Badly needs some freshening up and staff is, if not unfriendly, not really very welcoming. I am staying in Funchal +/- 10 times a year, and I have stayed in far better places for less money !

Clean large rooms with balcony
Clean large rooms with balcony to catch the evening sun. Kitchen a bit basic but who wants to cook much on holiday? Sink, 2 electric hotplates and fridge, all in 1m space! Good places to eat nearby without the 15 min walk into the centre of Funchal. Was a bit noisy on one night, am!ome people aren't considerate of others and don't want to hear a guitar solo and vocals at 5.30am! Parking underneath hotel 10euro a week, a bit tight but useful if you don't want on road pay parking, but manageable. Would recommend the hotel and stay there again.

Un peu bruyant
Hôtel bien placé pour la visite de Funchal. Par contre un chien aboie toutes les nuits ( son propriétaire travaille de nuit ) Le réceptionniste de l'hôtel dit qu'il ne peuvent rien faire. Et la journée ce sont les marteaux piqueurs qui sont à l'oeuvre (transformation d'un hôtel à côté) Pas cher,donc nous supportons ces désagréments.

Hotel in phantastischer Lage
Ich bin mit diesem Hotel sehr zufrieden. Die Kommunikation klappte ausgezeichnet, sowohl im Voraus per Mail als auch vor Ort, das Zimmer war geräumig und bequem, das Personal aufmerksam und freundlich. Durch die Nähe zum Zentrum ist es als Ausgangspunkt für Besichtigungen und Wanderungen einfach ideal.

Très bel appart-hôtel, très bonne prestation à tous les niveaux, propreté, accueil et situation pas très loin du centre ville, parking et piscine. Proximité de nombreux restaurants et surtout en bas de l'hôtel restaurant avec de bons produits et des prix modérés. Donc entière satisfaction pour cet hôtel

hotel a renover
j'ai l'habitude de voyager en appart hotel c'est la première fois, que j'ai une chambre aussi "veillote." j'ai toujours eu de vrai cuisine et non dans un placard. votre moquette serait a recouvrir de parquet lambri. et salle de bain a remodernisé.et placard a refaire un bruit d'enfer. heureusement que le personnel assure a 100% sa vous sauve. l'emplacement et le prix son correct. votre ile est magnifique. merci cordialement

amabilité du personnel
A la suite de notre demande concernant les bus réegionaux de Madere . le receptionniste nous montre sur la carte le terminal des bus nous sortons donc pour s'y acheminer mais le receptionniste nous rattrape pour nous faire part dune erreur dans son renseignement encore merci pour cette delicate attention

bon rapport qualité/prix hotel en comparaison du vol
très bon séjour car hotel situé face à la mer,proche du port(santa maria) et des hotels et en accès facile des parcs et du centre ville/ Personnel avenant, dévoué et aussi francophone/ mais peu fréquenté par les français (chantier de construction à proximité)

peu d'attractions car basse saison donc à conseiller fin mars ou avril à la fête des fleurs pour les attractions et animation ville/ et sorties les bus desservent bien toute l'ïle recommande bus 56 pour Santana et retour bord de côte
