Not a 4* hotel!

At arrival room required wasn't allocated. We were 3 people, one disabled and although I had contacted the hotel directly by e-mail, they were expecting 2 people. But night staff called Mario promptly sorted problem for that night. However next day booked dinner for 9pm arrived to get a very rude member of staff telling us table not available, if we wanted food to call room service. I had to talk to management that got us a table but the service was awful, food very average. Bar staff: ordered a bottle of wine before dinner but told us we could not take bottle up to restaurant, only agreed after reasoning with me. Room was tidy but not cleaned, cups used from previous day not washed. This hotel cannot be 4 star even for Portuguese standards. Staff at reception during the day very rude and unhelpfull. I wouldn't use this hotel again or reccomend it to anyone.

Mediocrity

The location is ideal if you want to be close to Rossio. But that is where any degree of excitement ends. The staff lackluster. And most likely, features of your previous hotel stays for which you didn't have additional charges, is available at this hotel only as an option. Example: Safe box. If you want to use it, call downstairs. You want wi-fi, call downstairs. I made a couple of calls from the landline. Paid nearly 9 euros. SOmething about being nickel and dimed that takes away from feeling like you are on vacation. Take caution.

Great Location!

The location is unbeatable, and the hotel is very nice. Included free parking and breakfast for us, which was great, and had a great upstairs bar. Breakfast is somewhat average, but a nice way to start the day nonetheless, and other options are all round. Can literally walk to all tourist areas in Lisboa from this hotel.

Great location.Front desk staff should be more widley informed on how to guide guests who wish to to

Front desk staff showed enthusiasm in recommendations and made some excellent restaurant bookings. We would have liked to find a way of striking out on our own using public transport.Perhaps we hoped for too much with no Portuguese of our own but trying to be one of the locals and dealing with their travel c onsiderations is an interesting part of travelling. So that is maybe a bit picky which we do not want to be as the hotel staff were really good.

Good Location

Hotel well situated, caters to group travel, included breakfast buffet was not impressive, room was very small and noisy, housekeeper did a very good job, bath tub leaked onto bathroom floor. I would not recommend this hotel. No free WIFI.

Central location

The location was perfect to see all of Lisbon that needed to be seen. A short walk down through the streets to the sights and waterfront or an even shorter walk across the road to the bus and tram stop. The Hotel appears to have been recently renovated and the service was good. We had a nice meal at one of the 2 retaurants and there was plenty to eat at breakfast each morning. A Doorman and a Security guy were out the front at all times The air conditioning did not appear to be working properly though and this would be our only negative comment.

great location

Within walking distance of major sites and transportation connections, this hotel offers comfortable facilities, good service, and an ample buffet breakfast. Views from the 8th floor restaurant are more memorable than the food. We were able to get the Metro to the Gulbankian museum by taking a short walk to the Azul metro line in front of the Rossio train station; we took tram 28 (Watch out for pick-pockets!) , which makes a scenic loop beginning and ending steps away from the hotel. Nearby " Restaurant Rrow " offers lots of dining choices. Overall, this is a good choice for convenience and value.
