The past is not only outside the hotel. Reconstructed throughout the centuries, its recent refurbishment was based on extensive historical research in order to preserve the building original traits. Adjusted to the latest tendencies from architecture to services Evidencia Tejo is a Hotel that follows the concept of "charm" with typical Portuguese characteristics.

Great place to be centrally located

Lisboa Tejo is in an excellent location just off on one the main squares and very close to tram stops. The building itself is located on a ancient water source to which they did a beautiful job in making it part of the hotel's decor. All other touches are modern twists including uses of old materials. Very interesting and welcoming.

Do you research before taking on a Fado night out. We tried to get a reservation to the places mentioned in the Rick Steves book but every place was booked. We ended up at a recommendation from the Fado museum - it was extremely over priced with lousey food and so so Fado!
