Great location.

This hotel is not necessarily among the most modern hotels in Lisbon, but the location is perfect and will help you save lots of money when it comes to local transportation. This hotel is very close to the metro (subway) station and the tour buses depot. The rooms are spacious and the breakfast is very good. The place is not luxurious, but has all what you need to have a comfortable worry-free stay.

Great location, pity about the lifts.

This was our first trip to Lisbon and the location of the hotel could not have been better. Not too far to the centre of Lisbon but far enough not to have all the hustle and bustle of this busy City. The room was clean, comfortable and tidy. Staff were always there to help when required. Breakfast was great if you liked scambled eggs - every morning without fail. The biggest problem is that the lifts were very temperamental. A slight movement in the lift when in motion would often stop the lift from reacing the desired floor, any slight variance in weight ratio would also cause the lifts to stop moving. Not too bad if you are near the bottom of the hotel but as our room was on the 8th it was a bit of a walk up and down the stairs;. Still would recommend this hotel to others thinking about going to Lisbon.

Time-saving tip: Not Applicable

Certainly think about buying a Lisbon Card from any information office - very good value if you plan to use the public transport system whist staying in Lisbon. Covers trains, buses, underground and certain Trolley Cars.

awful

the staff at the front desk were very rude and not at all helpful, the fridge in the room did not work and had a terrible smell coming from it, we asked for tea making facilities and had to go looking for tea and coffee every day which we only got once.it was a nightmare,i wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone

Great staff and location

This hotel was clean but had very poor lighting and needs updated. The location was perfect. There are metro stops very close. We took the metro almost every time we went somewhere. The breakfast was good but being there 7 days, some variety would be nice. The noise from adjoining rooms and the hallway was bothersome at times. The staff, especially the front desk was excellent.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

The little local cafes in the neighborhood are a great value with great food. When walking in the city center you get harassed by people trying to get you to come to their restaurant. Save yourself money and grief and eat before or after visiting the city center.

You get what you pay for.

The hotel is located on the corner of two very busy streets, but is quiet inside. The location allows one a choice between a number of bus stops only about 200 meters away, or the superb Metro which is just a bit further on. The staff was very helpful. Our only problem was with the bathroom. There was not a shelf wide enough to hold a shaving kit. (Mine is 4" wide.) Other rooms which apparently cost a few $ more had much more room. I know- I peeked inside.
