Excellent hotel and value
Our family stayed at this hotel (two rooms) for two nights. We had an excellent stay. While the hotel is located slightly remote from the core downtown area (taxi and public transportation is excellent is very affordable so not a major issue) we were very pleased with our stay.

Great hotel and perfect location!
We enjoyed! Great location: a walk from the subway, the train station and the busses. the subway takes you to the downtown in 10 minutes. No stop bus to Fatima every hour. Several trains to Coinbra and Porto everyday. Nice and confortable room (suite). Staff very friendly. Very fresh food at the restaurant inside at reasonable price (buffet in the evening) pretty expensive wine. We enjoyed as well the swimming pool. If breakfast is not included you can stop at the bar in front of the hotel. Price very reasonable!

Relaxing, enjoyable holiday
The gym was fantastic, the lounge was always warm and welcoming, and the breakfast buffet was delicious. We all enjoyed the hotel and were able to make ourselves comfortable at any time of the day.

Great Service
the room was a little small, however the service was fantastic. The pool was warm and relaxing. The spa was very nice and the prices for the treatments weren't bad. A five minute walk to the zoo. I traveled with my one year old and it was a little cramped but I would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful Hotel
The hotel was just as beautiful as in the pictures. If you wanted to watch television, movies, or use the internet there was a fee. Initially I didn't like this but I went on vacation to see the city...not watch television so it actually wasn't that bad. When booking this hotel I thought breakfast was included but once I arrived at this hotel I found out it wasn't. Although I thought the breakfast was pricey don't let that discourage you...it was DELICIOUS and worth the price! The Spa was the BEST spa I have ever been too. There is a beautiful and tranquil solarium that has a jacuzzi hot tub, multiple water massages, walking foot massager, and sauna. All this is available while you wait for your chosen spa treatments. The in-door pool is beautiful. There is a gym as well that looked nice...I didn't actually go in. The hotel is pretty close to everything you need to see and there are stops on the tour buses that are within walking distance. Overall, I would give this hotel 5 stars for it's beauty, location, food, staff, spa, etc. etc. This list could go on and on! I would definitely stay there again...

The hotel was very nice, and either met my expectations or exceeded them. The only drawback was the nearby area had graffiti. You need to be prepared as we drove by most neighborhoods with large hotels had graffiti. Coming from Los angeles we probably do a better job maintaining gaffiti, however as most big cities if you venture off the main roads you will find graffiti. Felt safe.
