18th century Lisbon boutique hotel near parks and museums
The As Janelas Verdes hotel, built in an 18th century palace next to the National Ancient Art Museum, boasts a small garden, library overlooking the Tagus River and the lingering presence of Eça de Queirós, the famous Portuguese novelist who found inspiration while living at this property. Located in the historic district of the city, it’s impossible to not get swept up in the magic of the city and the richness of character around every corner. Last renovated in 2002, the hotel is decorated in classic Portuguese style.

Un hôtel plein de charme

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce petit hôtel situé non loin du bord de mer dans un quartier animé par de multiples petits restaurants sans être pourtant trop touristique. L'accueil est charmant, le petit-déjeuner excellent et le salon-bibliothèque (avec terrasse et vue sur la mer) un lieu ou il fait bon se reposer après une journée de visites bien remplie. Un plus : les tickets d'entrée des principaux musées de Lisbonne sont remboursés par l'hôtel.

Petiscaria Ideal Rue de Esperança 100/102 Un petit restaurant tenu par des jeunes ou la cuisine est aussi inventive qu'excellente. Le Chat Café branché à côté de Musée de Arte Antigua avec sa vue splendide sur la mer.

E' un albergo veramente confortevole,

E' un albergo veramente confortevole, la terrazza con l'annessa biblioteca e la cortesia del personale ne fanno un posto unico in Lisbona. Assolutamente consigliato.

AS Janelas Verdes è un bellissimo

AS Janelas Verdes è un bellissimo albergo, in dimora storica, arredato con grande gusto, senza le folle dei gruppi turistici. Servizio e camere di qualità superiore. Ci tornerei subito!
