Baia da Luz combines the luxury of a 21st century holiday resort with the beauty and tranquility of extensive Roman style landscaping. Cypress, olive and palm trees are bordered by fragrant clusters of lavender and the main central village area has stunning gardens with natural stone finished walls. All apartments are designed to ensure both a high level of comfort and functionality and have all the conveniences of modern day living including satellite television, under floor heating, air conditioning, fully equipped kitchens, underground parking, security system and pleasant terraces. The village-type layout also features a range of leisure facilities including swimming pools, a tennis court, a multi-purpose sports pitch, a children's playground, a poolside snack bar and a Resturant.

Wonderful experience!!!!

We were pleasently surprised about the size of the rooms and new fitted kitchen with all appliances. We had two floor apartments with 4 balconies, 3 of those with the sea view. As it was off peak season (begining of september) the complex and area were very quiet. We definately recomend as it is good value for the money.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

Loads of lovely traditional portuguese restorants with vast variety of fish, meat or vegetarian home cooked dishes. Worth trying traditional 'Cataplana'. Enjoy!
