This unique charming property is the perfect choice for a relaxing holiday in the Alentejo region . Facilities include a 6 treatment room spa with 1 indoor and outdoor swimming pool and tennis court, 2 restaurants, a bar, an auditorium for 110 person and a business centre. The readers of Conde Nast Traveler voted the Convento as the 3rd best European Resort in 2008. Also for the 3rd consecutive year, the hotel was selected as the Best Portuguese Spa Resort, by World Travel Awards. DDS 11/08. The building was originally a convent dating back the last century and nowadays is considered a treasured national monument. This luxurious property is located in the centre of Evora, a world heritage city capital of Alentejo region, surrounded a by eight hectares of beautiful gardens.

Two types available, Deluxe garden view or Deluxe convent. Deluxe Garden View are located in the new wing. With private terrace and offers privileged views of the garden. Deluxe Convent are located in the old convent. Luxuriously decorated with a perfect combination of tasteful decor and modern technology. All rooms are equipped with king-size bed, mini bar, safe, telephone, wireless Internet and plasma TV. Luxurious bathrooms, with separate bathtub and shower.

Exceptional location and service.

Exceptional location and service. The hotel is perfectly integrated in the landscape of the Alentejo, offers a real hide-away with a highly dedicated team that is truly available and helpful. We felt so well that after checking out and leaving to our next planned stop: Lisbon, we came back at the end of the very same day to spend the rest of our vacation in the Convento Do Espinheiro. Lisbon has to wait till our next visit. What a wonderful stay!
