great hotel to stay in braga
this hotel is centrally located in braga, and from the hotel it is very convenient to get to the bus stops, bus and train station, the historic center, and shops... also, the hotel staff is very friendly and helpful, i have experienced a pleasent stay there. Finally, the hotel restaurant is excellent, the chef works wonders with the seafood (i have only had seafood during my stay, but if the quality extends to other food, that would not be surprising). The waiters in the restaurant were doing an excellent service and perhaps the best i experienced in the Iberian peninsula. Hope you a nice stay in Hotel Mercure in Braga.

you might try other places for a difference every once in a while, but the restaurant in the hotel would be more than sufficient for tasty food served in a nice and polite manner.

- 5min walk to center.

PROS - 5min walk to center. - Large rooms. One of the better in all our stays in Portugal. Use the mini fridge to cool your own items. - Staff was helpful in printing a convulted train connection schedule to Obidos for us. This took them a little bit of time to do but it won us over on recommending them. CONS - Probably difficult to find on your own due to a somewhat oddly located entrance but every taxi knows it. * RECOMMENDED *
