Hotel Baia Grande is a Top quality 4 star resort with a relaxed holiday atmosphere. The hotel was built in 2000 and has a total of 131 rooms, on 3 floors Guests are offered a beautiful large garden and pool area, a cloakroom. In addition, games room, a newspaper stand, a cosy bar. Outside swimming pool as well for children, inside heated pool, Jacuzzi, Sauna, Piano Bar, Pool Bar/Restaurant, Airport transfer (charge), baby sitting service (charge), benquet facilities, bar, barbecue area, concierge, currency exchange, disabled facilities, doctor on call, dry cleaning, golf course (5 km), laundry service, lift/elevator, lobby, 24 hour reception, restaurant, room service, safe deposit box, smoke-free hotel, table tennis and tour desk. Conference rooms and Wireless Internet access in public areas are available for business guests. The hotel has its own bicycle hire, parking facilities for guests arriving by car. Breakfast included.

very nice

the breakfast was delicious, the staff were great, my only thing that would have been nice to have at in the room was a kettle to make your own tea and coffee,other wise the room was great. And I don't know if that's just me but for anything extra (like internet or pingpong) you had to pay,would have thought in a 4star hotel you wouldnt (but again I'm not sure, maybe that's normal) otherwise its a great hotel,great location,amazing breakfast. Those flapjacks with that sauce are to die for.

Money-saving tip: Short walk from hotel

There is a place called pol sol something, its a restaurant a short walk or a very short drive down the road from the hotel, and u can get giant portions for very cheap there,local Portuguese (check out their specials). One portion between 2 people even.

We found that the Baia Grande

We found that the Baia Grande is an excellent hotel to stay at. The reception service was very efficient, the rooms were very clean and the heating or cooling system is an independent unit in each room. The balcony was adquately large enough to be comfortable and the view over the sea and outdoor pool very relaxing. The service we recieved from every member of staff was absolutely first class and the pricing of drinks in the hotel and by the pool were not extortionate A thouroughly satisfying experience overall.

Gostei demais do hotel. Tenho

Gostei demais do hotel. Tenho apenas duas queixas: 1_ Deveria ter toalhas de banho para prais, pois que vem de outro pais não anda com toalhas de banho. 2- Deveria ter internet gratuita tempo integral no quarto. Hoje internet faz tanta falta como energia elétrica. (E hoje é muito bartato)

Hotel d'echelle humaine, belle

Hotel d'echelle humaine, belle situation à 10 mn à pied d'une plage magnifique. Grande chambre et service sympatique.
