good for the price
for the price, the room was good. Decorum was more old fashioned. Also we had 2 twin beds (or singles I think they call them) for my husband and I. We didn't care but it was funny. Location was great, ~5 minute walk to the market square. My chief complaints are no climate control (one window opens and not by much) and the pillow on the bed SUCKED (I had to fold it in half to get any kind of support). The restaurant there is decent but a lot of big tour groups go there too so the service suffers when the groups arrive. We only ate dinner there, can't comment on the breakfast.

Quite ordinary actually...
The room is not very big, in fact it is quite small. Everything sort of works but not really. The WiFi signal was a little weak in the room I had and also they do not allow late checkout which can be a hassle. Overall, it is not a great hotel but does the job if you want to be near Old Town and the main station (for trains).

great value
The hotel location is just perfect for all ages. Within easy walking distance to old town and central train station. My second time to stay here in last 4 years once in winter & then in August its very clean but could do with air conditioning. Breakfast had good variety of the usual meats etc., and dinner was good we had some lovely meals. Would recommend it to anyone

This hotel is extremely well located
This hotel is extremely well located close to the rail station and the old town. Although our "Promo" room was small it was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Hotel staff were extremely helpful and polite. Breakfast offered a wide variety of continental dishes both hot and cold. The hotel bar was user friendly, open all day, and prices were good. I can thoroughly recommend the Wyspianski Hotel and would certainly stay there again.

great hotel
This hotel was great in every way. For the price we paid ( about £225for 2 people ) for 4 nights bed and breakfast, it was certainly good value. Whilst in Krakow we had a trip to the salt mines, which was a must, great day out, just asked at the hotel reception and were on the coach the same afternoon! Couldnt decide whether to go to Austwich, as we had heard so many people say it was very upsetting, in the end we didnt go,however next time we go to Krakow we will definately go. We will certainly visit Krakow again as we thought it was a fabulous place to see!!! Also forgot to say breakfast at the hotel was great, plenty of choice and nicely presented.

Excellent staff and service. Only complaint was the regular chaos at breakfast due to the number of coach parties.

The hotel is a few minutes walk
The hotel is a few minutes walk from the market square and there are a few bars along the way. It is an ideal location and I would definately stay again. The room was large and had a balcony overlooking the main road but this wasn't a problem even for my daughter who is a light sleeper. I would say the only downside to the hotel was that the service in the bar is very slow they don't have enough staff to man the bar inside and the one on the terrace outside at the same time. Also the choice of drinks is limited. This wasn't a real problem as there are plenty of bars in the vacinity. 2 minutes walk will get you to a lovely cocktail bar that would become my home from home if I lived in Krakow.
