Black rat
The hotel had problems with their drains not draining quick enough. Next morning was greeted by Black Rat in the cleaning services cart. The staff was was nice and courteous with smiles on faces, but the most imporant thing...I lost $200 from the security box of this hotel and in fact had to deposit 1,500.00 Pesos in order to use that box/safety vault. I'm in high spirit and at peace when one day i checked my money but it lacks $200 dollars which shocked me. Informing the manager of what happened thought the best thing for me to do, but i need to explain more and demand them to return my money, and an agreement we transferred to another bigger room for a few days to lessen the exact amount and pay me the remaining balance. Such a bad experience for the first time, not expecting it, but i promise myself i will never return in this hotel again. Futher more, before i forget, i will inform my friends about what happened to me as i don't want them to experience what i have been through the ten (10) days i stayed there. From a concerned customer

Decent Value for the price.
This would be an excellent hotel with internet available in every room and regular exterminator visits. Many shops and restaurants within walking distance to include McDonalds, Burger King, Yellow Cab Pizza, Chow King and an abundance of local restaurants.

Dining tip:
Short walk from hotel
Stop by and order Yellow Cab Pizza in person if possible. Their telephone stays busy during peak hours. You'll get much better service in person from the clerk at the counter.

Sir Williams Hotel
What was listed as a twenty minute ride from the airport to the hotel on the Sir Williams Hotel web site, but in reality was close to two hours. Upon arrival they required a key deposit of $400 pesos for a $20 peso piece of plastic, the first hint of substandard lodgings. All food, beverages and services are to be paid on the spot in cash, as guests aren't allowed a charge to their rooms and they strictly enforce a "No Refund Policy". The noise from the traffic below was very loud and annoying. It was like there were no windows to dampen the sounds of trucks, cars and motorcycles. The food isn't very good and it's overpriced. The room had a small air conditioner which was insufficient. The bed was hard as a rock! The cable lacked the hardware connecting it to the TV so reception was bad. What really upset me was the horrible staff who assumed any change due back for food, beverages or services was automatically theirs to keep. Besides two legged guests I encountered a few of the largest rats I have ever seen and the thieving lounge manager tried to double bill me for beverages. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE!!!

Too Many Critters running around!
[...] The staff are so friendly, courteous, helpful, smiling and polite..I went to visit with friends. I am not an adventurous type when it comes to eating new dishes. There were 2 american burger joints close by that I frequented daily. I did enjoy meeting the friendly people. The weather is great.

Short walk from hotel
There are a lot of Chinese, Thai, Filipino, and american style eating places close by as well as lots of Karaoke night clubs which is very popular in the area.
