Dining

LA COCINA DE TITA MONING
The only place in Metro Manila where you can walk into an actual ancestral home, filled with priceless works of art and memorabillia. It is very exclusive, so please give 24 hours notice for reservations.
CARUSO RISTORANTE ITALIANO
More simply known as Caffe Caruso, this nondescript exterior / building facade would fool any passerby into believing it is just another Italian sounding restaurant in the vicinity.
LA REGALADE FRENCH BISTRO
Exuding classy elegance from its formal exterior ambiance, one may be surprised with the genuine warmth that greets you as the Bistro staff welcomes you in. The fine French cuisine cooked up by the 2-star Michellin Chef Alain Raye spells sublime.
SEASIDE DAMPA
Enjoy the bounty of the seas, right in the heart of Manila! Take pleasure in the authentic "Dampa" concept wherein one may do your own marketing by choosing from a wide array of meat and seafood from the wet market, located in the center of the compound.
LITTLE TOKYO
A compound of Japanese restaurants with a peaceful Japanese garden in the middle. Tip: A little bit of Tokyo captured in a private compound - for lovers of Japan, you can find ramen, massages and Japanese groceries too. Best to come here in the late aft
BARBARA'S RESTAURANT
Step into a place reminicent of old world sophistication. With heigh ceilings and crystal chandeliers, the setting is world apart from your modern-day shopping mall restaurant.
SONIA'S GARDEN
All the salad ingredients are picked fresh from the garden. You can enjoy them with a selection of dips.
BAKAHAN AT MANUKAN
Tip: Be warned, the bone marrow steak will satisfy any need for cholesterol. Waiters, cooks and even the security guard join in a song and dance routine.
HOBBIT HOUSE
Be charmed by the wait-staff made up entirely of “little people” as the ambiance transports you to MiddleEarth. Their live music and extensive selection of international beer is a great way to end your day.
ZAMBOANGA RESTAURANT
Famous for its fresh seafood and native cuisine with nightly cultural shows. Please ask the concierge for specific schedules.

Manila Trip

The hotel is in an excellent location right across from Glorietta mall and SM Makati with close walking disatnce to Greenbelt mall. Although a little bit older, this hotel makes for a nice stay especially with all the traffic going on in Manila.

Internet access SHOULD be provided

Internet access SHOULD be provided free of charge ! It is too petty and calculative to charge guests on hour or dailly basis knowing that Makati area has high concentration of foreign business travellers, the use of internet is a MUST to almost everyone. Nowadays, it is trend is to provide free internet access ( Wi-Fi ) or line-connect even in budget and 3-star or lower hotels in China, Thailand, Vietnam and etc.

refuge in Manila.

Our family had a very pleasant and safe experience in this hotel. My child was not used to the crowds and traffic of manila so we just stayed in the hotel for 3 day prior to going back to the states. Everybody from the van driver to the housekeepers were courtious and friendly. They always go out of there way to provide excellent service. I recommend the club level. It has it's reception area, breakfast and check-in area. This hotel is certainly world class!

Disappointment

Room was small and cramped, staff were very pleasant. Noise from elevator and music below kept me up all night. They did move me for my second night. Was also disapponited to learn I would not recieve Prioty Club points for the stay. [...]

Money-saving tip: Short walk from hotel

You can pay one-tenth of price for items in mini-bar by walking across the street to mall. Area is congested and don't expect filipino cab drivers to respect zebra stripes.

Hotel was very cleanand the staff

Hotel was very cleanand the staff friendly and location excellent. Only downside was theprice of a car at Php 1,500 per hour when the average cab ride from the street is Php 100. We also enquired as to the price of the hotel car to airport, Php 2,800 when they will call you a cab from the street for Php 300. As usual for hotels the WiFi cost is ridiculous. Having said all that it is a hotel I would go back to when I am back in Manila.

terrific location for shops & transport

Had stayed in this hotel three times before. The staff courtesy keeps me coming back. The conciergeknows her stuff-gave me directions to cheap shopping center Divisoria unflinchingly. The phone operator was just as charming. When my flight was delayed due to personal reasons ,I spoke to [...] who was very courteous in assuring me that our rooms would be ready when we arrived. The staff in the Jeepney Restaurant could not have been more helpful. I love the international cuisine offered during breakfast. Last but not least, the parking lot attendants risked their lives to stop the notorious Manila traffic when we decided to cross the street to a rival restaurant.

Shopping tip: Short walk from hotel

the shopping malls across the street are classified from inexpensive to high-end.Facing the extreme left is SM Mall- (inexpensive) and the extreme right would be the most expensive (Greenbelt)Louis Vuitton,Cartier, etc . The five malls are interconnected with bridges. They each have their own food courts.

Upon our check out, they have

Upon our check out, they have mis-placed / do not know where they put our storage item because no tag was given. We have waited for more than 45min and almost miss out flights. They did not even offer hotel transportation to us. i still like the place for convenience but pls dont mixed convenience with complacency.

Good Place to End your Journey

Selected the hotel for last 1 night of stay in Philippines to end our journey. Suitable place to do your last minute shopping before leaving. It only takes 3 minutes walk from hotel to reach the malls. So if our hands is full from shopping, it's very convenient to drop off your 1st batch of your shopping to your room and come again for other things. We just wish that their closest mall (Glorietta) has more spa shops but it turns out that it's more on shopping stuff. Glad to see the local grocery to find local sweets for a fraction of a price. Other than that, the hotel itself is pretty quiet and safe place.

Finding presents not necessarily be expensive. The local grocery is situated in Glorietta mall (3min) from this Intercon Hotel and you'll find lot's of local sweets there you can buy for local price, very cheap.
