Hotel 2O is a unique hotel, perhaps
Hotel 2O is a unique hotel, perhaps too big to be truly 'boutique'. It is located on the waterfront, appropriately, but at the expense of general city access/convenience. The 'water' theme is continually applied, and the Aqua room with fishtank wall, was wonderful - relaxing watching the fish from bed. But under the gimmicks it's another big chain hotel, at the mercy of its staff and procedures. The good were excellent, some were just trainees (at best). Excellent breakfast!

This was my last night in Manila and I could not have picked a better hotel. The room service was so wonderful. My only regret was that I got in at 9pm and left at 5am. I will most definetly stay here again next time. Love it thanks H2O

This hotel is in the middle of Ocean Park amusement area but right ON the water. We faced Manila Bay but other rooms have the aquarium as a window which were pretty amazing. Small but very nice rooms, lovely showers and free wifi! Great staff.

Not as great as it could be
The Hotel is inside of Manila Ocean Park, It seems more like a 3 star rather than 4 star hotel. Lay out of hotel is not that nice, the pool is a public pool for the thousands of visitors to the park. If you are traveling with kids its a great place to stay since your living inside and Ocean park though admission fees to the park events are not covered in your stay. The biggest problem with the hotel is that it is understaffed. I requested Ice each of the 3 days I stayed, the first day took 3 calls and 2 1/5 hours to get ice. The batteries in the remote were also dead, that took 2 hours and two calls to get take care of. The second day was just 1 call and 30 mins, but the 3rd day was another 2 hour wait. Parking is open parking same as the park quests, they just have a few slots roped off for the hotel guests you pay first and they give you the money back if you validate your parking. Overall, it is a unique experience with the aquarium in the room and all the fish, so I still recommend the hotel, but don't expect a 4 star experience. If you go with a 3 star mindset you will enjoy this hotel.

Short drive from hotel
It is quite near to Mall of Asia, 3rd largest mall in all of Asia, and for pampering, there is Wensha Spa, about 2 1/2 km away that offers full body message for 680 pesos with 6 hours to enjoy their facilities inclusive of a buffet with Asian food. Great experience for a massage and dinner at under $15.

Enjoyed our stay here. Kids had fun with the aquarium wall inside the room. Looks clean and chic hotel but I saw some signs of wear and tear on the wallpaper(minor though). Still on a soft opening so rendering of service is not yet smooth but understandable. Staff are extremely courteous. Needs to improve more on provision of facilities. Like access to swimming pool would be better if there's direct access from the hotel. It's kind of awkward to pass thru the general public area of the Ocean Park going to the pool and you have to transfer to the jacuzzi(15minutes) once the sealion show starts as they will be using the area infront of the pool. Overall...as I have said this hotel is a good stay specially if you have kids with you. It has a very good potential to become one of the top hotels. I will comeback again when they are not on a soft opening anymore so that I can rate them justly.
