The hotel was clean and the staff friendly. However there are a few things troubling We were put on a smoking floor and in a smoking Room. When we complained they moved us but to took a day. They did not always restock the soap and the coffee. The food was fair but the staff was polite and friendly. Overall a good experience but the hotel needs to work on the little things

Short drive from hotel
Go to one of the fish markets and purchase the freshest fish. Then go to a number of restaurants and they will cook it for you. The restaurants are located right along the market. They charge a cooking charge and supply things like rice side dishes etc. Great fun and delicious fish and low cost

Pro - Great location in Makita - A few blocks off busy streets, so its quiet - Great value for money - Very short walk to Greenbelt mall, with lots of shops + restaurants - Great, great service - Big, clean, modern rooms Con - $15 / day for internet if you book on big web site - Breakfast wasn't great Room Tip: Rooms at the back of the hotel don't have as good of a view as the front side of hotel

very nice and secure
My fiance and I were in Manila for her daughters graduation for a week and we stayed here for two nights. We were greeted by a security officer and a dog. The only way to go upstairs was if you had your room key to operate the elevator. That made us feel very securein the area. the room was very nice and had a kitchen and recieving room. it was very clean and very comfortable. We were on the 18th floor and felt like we were not only treated as people, but as true guests in a warm community. The staff was very polite and very good with our needs. the hotel is a short walk to the Greenbelt mall and Glorietta Mall. I will be going back to Manilla again in December and my fiance and I will be staying here again.

In the Matkati area , this is the best value for money . all the comforts of 4 star without spending a fortume . This was my second stay here .the first time was 3 days and on this occasion staying 5 days .Making me feel welcomed back with a room on the 28th floor with wonderful views to manila Bay . The rooms are large and modern , my only bad comment being a smoke smell in the room on arrive , but after airing the room along with a spary of glen 20 , its was fine. The breakfast is basic but still most enjoyable . I willl be back again on my next visit .

Ahh.. It was such a pleasant surprise
Ahh.. It was such a pleasant surprise to stay at Somerset Millenium Mekarti! The one bedroom suite was large, spacious n perfect for our family of 3, including our 6 mth old son. Its so self sufficient, and perfect location. Literally a stone's throw away from Greenbelt1. hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay there again next time!

This is my 2nd stay at the Somerset
This is my 2nd stay at the Somerset Millenium Makati on a business trip for 3 weeks. Overall had a great experience and stay. Staff are very friendly, helpful but at times some of the frontdesk staff can be incompetant. The service overall is very good and security is tight. Breakfast is average but there are many restaurants options nearby at Greenbelt Mall which is only 5min walk from the hotel. The rooms are modern, great king size bed, good internet connection and above average furnishing. The kitchen facilities are limited but ideal for preparing solo meals.
