still the best "home away from home"
we've been staying at this hotel every year we come home to visit our parents and each time our experience has nothihg but very enjoyable. it's truly a place you could call home away fromhome.your staff is extremely pleasant and very professional. we even enjoy your security dog, saturn, who greets you at the front door.we definitely would return next time.

Awesome family getaway!!!
This hotel has great location. It's right next to an upscale shopping mall and business district. This was our 2nd hotel stay in a 2BR. Really loved the layout and concept of the hotel because you can have a really good time with your family and friends visiting.

Short walk to many upscale shopping centers, right next door to an ATM machine, salon, restaurants. An awesome, awesome location.

Although the nearby Glorietta has good restaurants, the Greenbelt are has more to offer in terms of variety of food.

Great Alternative to Hotels
Staff were nice and very helpful. My room was very spacious and generally clean. Though they need to pay attention in cleaning the tub better. Breakfast buffet selection was good. I specially love the variety of fresh fruits offered. A bit pricey, and I actually can get a similar service in a hotel but I wanted to try something new. Would probably stay again if other hotel nearby are offering the same rates.

The rooms are equipped with full kichen so you can prepare your own dinner. Rustans Supermarket is a good place but I found SM Supermarket at the other side to have more choices and more reasonably priced goods. For restaurant dining, your best bets are on the Greenbelt side of the mall.

Excellent choice for the right price
Our trip to the Philippines covered Cebu and Boracay but we went to Manila specifically to shop and Ascott Hotel (formerly known as Oakwood Premier) in Makati was the best place to stay and unwind after a long day. The kids enjoyed the fact that they could simply go downstairs, go around the whole of Glorietta and Greenbelt without having to worry about the taxi ride back to the hotel.

There are a lot of places around the area to eat breakfast. Skip the breakfast at the hotel. They serve the same stuff everyday.

Average Family w/ Autism Handicap

We stayed on a three bedroom unit on the 25th floor, this has some great view of the city and its sunrise. This room is 4 star truly. Although, every place has its down side. The HVAC vents and air filters need cleaning and replacement every 3months for the filters (Dust were obviously visible on the vents and my allergies were triggered during our stay). Wifi on my unit had a very weak signal, so my connection dropped constantly. Also our unit didn't have RJ45 network ports as an alternative to Wifi. Room service food is pricey 25+ dollars for a meal and the portion on the plate is very small for its price (it would be acceptable if it is served in big portions, please).

Buy/Cook your own food or have your personal chef do it for you (when you have a kitchen on the unit). Rustan's grocer is a short walk downstairs out the mall. Ask the front desk for additional directions. Moreover, you could eat outside, but this would be a drag when traveling with small kids.
