Diplomat Hotel

Great resturaunt, too far from The hotel though, everything was ok. The only thing that was missing here is a microwave in the room and a coffee pot and a ice machine on each floor would have been a huge plus as long as it was treated water that the ice was made from. Other than than that the cheapest hotel here in the states far exceeds any hotel that ive stayed at in the phil.

I travel to Philippines 3 -4 times a year and always stay in this hotel. It's clean, decent and not too expensive and very convenient location.

Staff friendly. Easy access to taxis and good location for restaurants. helpful advice from staff. Restaurant affordable and good service.

THE ROOMS WERE VERY CLEAN , STAFF FRONT DESK , RESTAURANT STAFF ,SECURITY STAFF , ROOM SERVICE AND CLEANING ROOM PERSONNEL WERE EXTREMELY POLITE AND MADE EVRY EFFORT TO INSURE YOUR STAY WAS TO BE REMENBERED BY YOU . STRONGLY RECOMMENDED FOR FUTURE FAMILYS TO STAY AT THE DIPLOMAT . IF YOU WANT THE TRUE FILIPINO WELCOME AND FEEL WANTED , WELL BY ALL MEANS THE "DIPLOMAT HOTEL IS FOR YOU " . It was really better than my original expectation. The mattress might be not so conferable but I wont judge a 3-star hotel for that.

The Staff was courteous and helpful, although we found the Hotel Coffee shop to be over priced. Just down the street was a Thia restaurant that was excellent.

This hotel website is misleading about the non smoking rooms. When I checked in today and asked for a non smoking room, the receptionist told me that all rooms are smoking. I ended up with no room for the night and charged of a cancellation fee. I am not recommending this hotel to anybody.

THE HOTEL PROVED TO BE LOCATED CLOSE TO MALLS AS WELL AS TO LOCAL BANKS AND RESTAURANTS ALL WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE . TRANSPORTATION WAS READILLY AVAILABLE . HOTEL HAS EXCELLENT PERSONEL READY TO ASSIST IN ANY WAY THEY COULD . THEY WERE POLITE AND VERY WELL INFORMED AS TO YOUR NEEDS . RESTAURANT HAD A GOOD VARIETY OF FOOD AND DRINKS AT AFFORDABLE PRICES . SECURITY WAS PARAMOUNT AND VERY COURTEOUS . FRONT DESK PERSONEL WERE VERY ATTENTIVE TO YOUR NEEDS AND VERY RESPECTFULL AS WELL AS COURTEOUS. ROOMS WERE CLEAN AND KEPT CLEAN BY THE MAINTENANCE STAFF .OVERALL AN EXCELLENT, CONFORTABLE STAY . NO PROBLEMS WERE ENCOUNTERED. GOOD JOB DIPLOMAT , THANK YOU FOR A MEMORABLE STAY . The Diplomat was a reasonable hotel. Decent location, with Robinsons Mall and a few decent restaurants within walking distance. Staff were friendly, although seemed a bit preoccupied with talking amongst themselves sometimes. My room w s good, fairly spacious and comfortable. It was old, but reasonably clean. The on-site restaurant was good. WIFI costs were okay, but the speed was pretty slow. Decent hotel, good value for money if you don't mind a few rough edges.
