This hotel was above my expectations. The rooms were spacious and clean. Bottled water was left for us each day. The water in the shower was HOT!! The breakfast was much better than any other hotel along our peru trek.
I booked into the hotel and was comfortable enough to book into a second night. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Wifi in the lobby but not in the rooms. The staff didnt go out of their way to be overly helpful but they did a great job of
answering all questions that we did have. Excellent breakfast included
This is a great Hotel. just around the corner to retail, sights and cafes, but tucked away in quiet street. It has an old worldly feel and the heating in all areas, including my room was a bonus. Plenty of hot water for a bath and a good shower.
Staff were very helpful + had a good understanding of English and although my room was a little dated + the carpet could do with replacement this was a good value hotel. Great breakfast.

Short walk from hotel
Make sure you bargain. The first price is not what they expect. You will see many of the same things so get a price in mind, check out all the shops, then go for your favorite.
Bed was comfortable with lots of thick blankets, bathroom was luxuriously spacious, hot water was so hot I had to use cold water as well to shower, somewhat rare in the Andes. Room had cable TV, wi-fi was excellent. Puno is cold at night and the
room had a heater but I didn't need it because of the blankets. Hotel is close to Plaza de Armas and the central pedestrian zone and dozens of restaurants and bars. Best breakfast buffet I had in Peru! Fruit salads, fruit juices made from actual fruit, giant urns of real coffee, pancakes, cheese and ham, made to order eggs. Only drawback is that there are telephones in the rooms.
