Good accommodation, great food !

We had a good time at this hotel. The staff were always friendly and helpful and the food was great. They didn't have much of a selection of white wine and seemed to be out of stock of the wine they did have listed. The doors are hollow core and so they don't provide much sound insulation so we were awakened by other guests talking in the hallways and in the next room through the inter-connecting door. The food in the restaurant and at the tapas bar was great although the 3 glasses of wine included with the tapas were the tiniest little glasses and were only about 20% filled. We'd stay there again.

Money stolen from our room!

We stayed at at this hotel in December, and after a day tour to Lake Titikaka, we returned to our room to discover that our possessions had been moved around, and around $400 had been stolen from our room! Initially, the hotel seemed very proactive and allegedly conducted an investigation, but nothing has come of it. The customer satisfaction team said that there was no proof and therefore no compensation could be given. Very disappointed with this outcome. After reading about the hotel chain on other travel websites, it seems that a number of travellers have had similar experiences with the same hotel chain in Cusco. We will definitely not be staying with one of these hotels ever again.
