Comfortable and large rooms totally refurbished with free wireless Internet in all the hotel, exquisite food gourmet in its Restaurant Las Palmeras, live shows in the Bar El Marqu's, 24 hour Casino, outdoor Pool and all the comforts you may need.

Short Stop in Piura
We spent there one night and it was a nice surprise to find such a luxury in the center of Piura after several days on the beach. The hotel has a traditional architecture, but the interiors of the rooms are very modern and nicely designed. The water in the shower is hot and the pressure is great...everything is clean and new.

Great Till Checkout
We really liked this hotel. The rooms and building were elegant, the location was fantastic. They had great secure parking. The only problem was we had an hour long argument at checkout over weather we had to pay for the room a second time after we had already paid. Finally they called this site and we checked out. Dave

Los Portales Hotel in Piura, Peru
This hotel is in the heart of Piura on the Plaza de Armas. The hotel staff are exceedingly friendly and helpful, and will assist with nearly ANY request. Spanish is most helpful, though.

Do not eat on the plaza. Take a short walk down nearly any street to one of the small, local restaurants.

We would certainly stay here again
Our meetings were at night so we were at the hotel all day. This hotel is built around an inner courtyard with a fountain and plantings. They have computers available in a separate room. The hotel is located right on the main square and is very picturesque. The rooms are spotless and the light in the bathroom is excellent. We love this hotel. The food is excellent although a bit high by Peruvian standards. I can say nothing bad about this hotel except for the lack of an elevator. If you have problems climbing stairs, be sure to ask for a first floor room. I would recommend this hotel very highly for anyone traveling to Piura.
