Our quality furnishings, tasteful decor, attention to details, and a new gourmet restaurant provide an authentic sense of Peru's history, art, and cuisine as opposed to so many generic "glass and marble" hotels. "A quaint and charming inn, beautifully traditional."
A recent expansion boast 30 new garden views rooms all gracefully appointed with the same charming dcor and furnishing of existing rooms, and connect with the new restaurant and lounge areas without compromising the Antigua's small inn feel. Both the new rooms, and the recently renovated ones, all have the same quality carpeting, bedding, orthopedic beds, hand carved colonial furniture, original art, antiques, and charming baths with quality fixtures.
Even as the Hotel Antigua Miraflores continues to grow, its attentive, personalized, and friendly staff are what guests appreciate and comment on most. As your hosts, they will help insure that your stay at the Antigua and your entire visit to Peru is a memorable experience. Dining, tour and museum recommendations, transfer, flight and hotel reservations, dry cleaning, luggage repairs, entertainment and shopping options are just a few of the services our staff will be pleased to provide you.
Note: The 18% national sales tax is charged upon check-out to all Peruvian citizens and foreigners staying 60 consecutive days or more. Non- resident travelers are exempted of this tax upon presentation of passport and Migration Card (given by Peruvian Immigration at airport) at check-in.

Good value hotel
Staff was very nice and helpful. The building, grounds, and common areas are well maintained. I liked the proximity of the hotel to downtown Lima and the waterfront. The hotel is in a nice neighborhood. However, the room furnishings, carpeting and bathroom could use improvement.

Dining tip:
Short walk from hotel
There's a nice bakery just one block from the hotel along Grau Ave. where you can either dine in or do take out. Great sandwiches and soup. Coming from the hotel, just turn right to get to it.

Decent hotel, rude staff
Upon some confusion during our check-in process, the staff became incredibly rude-- demanding that we buy an extra room for one extra person because of some non-existant code that only permitted three people to stay in an enormous room that easily fit a king-size bed and one or even two extra cots. They finally did back down, but not after an unncessarily combative check-in. The rest of the stay was fine--the rooms are full of interesting furniture, the beds are comfy, and the rooms are clean. The hallways are relatively dingy, though. The front desk was helpful in calling cabs for us, and could easily accomodate our obscenely early check-out at 4AM.

Miraflores hotel
I returned to the hotel after a week and found it even more charming than my first stay. Very unique: I felt as if I was staying in the 19th century hacienda of a rich relative, one who left me alone to read, drink wine or just relax in my spacious, quiet room.

Very nice location, but unfortunate smells
The Antigua Hotel was very nice and well located. The staff was very kind and helpful. Unfortunately, because the hotel was created as part of an old mansion, the room was very cold all day. There were also smells coming from the kitchen and due to the humidity in the room that made the room and the lobby of the hotel uncomfortable places to be in.

Old world charming.
Antigua Miraflores Hotel provides respite from the noise and hustle of Lima. Well located to nearby shopping, restaurants and toursit attractions yet provides quiet place to sleep. Open window views to courtyard and geranium on every window sill adds charm to otherwise very simple room. Friendly and helpful staff.

Short walk to tourist busses in center square. Buss tours are not my favorite thing but the best way to see a lot of Lima quickly and safely.
