The hotel continues to be excellent, in particular the stall is just perfect in all categories efficiency, friendlyness and knowledge), This applies also to the tours organized by Orient Express.
The only week point is the dining room which gave
the impression of dining in a fridge. It is therefore mostly empty when I was dining there. In the past the dining was where today is breakfast. I suggested that the hotel reverts to the earlier arrangement.
Another sore point is the internet. The speed is lousy. I understand that Movistar (Telefonica is underperforming as elsewhere in mthe world) .
Hotel features (5 = best, 1 = worst):
Short walk from hotel
For dining go to the MAP restaurant. It is just a short wall from the Monasterio with excellent food and service and a warm environment.
