I enjoyed this hotel. It has beautiful gardens and decks . It is in layers up on the hillside. The view of the city is fantastic from the hillside. There are quaint rooms and apartments. It is made of stone and therefore it is very cool. There
once were fireplaces to use but the city has an ordinance against building fires in them now. So it is cool except for the thick alpaca blankets that they use on the beds kept us warm at night. It is quite a hike up the hill and then about 4 flights. In the thin altitude air you can get very winded climbing all this way. Not for anyone who is easily winded or has bad knees.
Since there is no heat in room; it got a bit chilly, but we did have space heater that was worked ok....Staff nice; in an artsy area; hard for vehicles to get up narrow road, so we walked alot; beautiful views!
Hotel features (5 = best, 1 = worst):
Long walk from hotel
Good local places close; main plaza a bit of a walk but worth it.
