The Tryp Panama Centro is located in a residential neighborhood of Panama City, the surroundings offer a great selection of restaurants, stores, banks and offices within walking distance. Our spacious rooms and suites combining luxury and comfort including marble floors, complimentary WIFI and high speed internet, and sound proof windows for a great night sleep and exquisite decor that makes you feel like your home away from home. Our rooms includes a broad choice cable TV, minibar. The hotel offers parking, accessible rooms, and a state of the art fitness facility. We feature 90 rooms equipped with the best technology. Great New Hotel

Tryp is a new modern hotel. Small lobby with ultramodern concept design including the attached Gastro Bar/Resto. Buffet breakfast was not included in my rate (from travel net vendor) but quite ok. 2 computers are accessible to guestsand quite exposed right around the lobby. Small but minimalist room with flat on the wall TV. GREAT free internet access in the room. No bath tub but a good size bathroom with a glass enclosed shower stall with good water pressure. The hotel is located in a residential area but close enough via a taxi ride to touristic places. There are several restaurants along the road - a half block to Veneto (hotel with a casino). There is a small pool and a jacuzzi on the top floor including an equipped gym and a dry and wet sauna. Beside the hotel is a laundry place and a convenience store in the street corner. As in other places - i find it hard to believe that not a lot really speaks English but at least they try. Front desk staff are helpful. What they can improve: A tour desk or a lot more assistance to get tourist information and how to arrange such. It looks more like a business hotel.

Sightseeing tip: Short drive from hotel

Try using the Hop On Hop off bus to see the city and explore as you fancy. A partial transit in the Panama Canal is a great experience.
