Refined Panama resort with upscale bar and restaurant and luxe perks
Located near Via Espana within walking distance of Balboa Avenue, the elegant Bristol Panama resort is an intimate, service-oriented destination that is long on amenities. Guest rooms feature colonial-meets-Panamanian decor with Frette cotton sheets and Hungarian down-filled pillows. An on-site restaurant serves gourmet fare, and a wine and cocktail bar offers 70 varieties of rum and New-World vinos. Personal butlers, designer toiletries, a business center with color printer and a fitness facility are added charms.

Enjoyed the stay there. Service was excellent and I would recommend it to travelers looking for a great location while avoiding the busy and noisy environment of larger hotels.

Very good business hotel
If you are doing business in Panama city you can't do better than this. As a tourist it's a very good hotel in a good location. What's missing is local flavor to the decoration (except for the spectacular multi-tierd live orchid display in the entrance). Very english in decor although of high quality with some good perks like printing your name on a business card to use throughout your stay in Panama and providing a cell phone for your use. Some of the follow through from the staff was not up to standards and the check-in process needs a complete overhaul.
