Palm-punctuated, Panama City hotel with pool, not far from airport
Located one mile from Tocumen International Airport, the family-friendly Riande Aeropuerto Hotel and Resort features an outdoor pool surrounded by palm trees, a health club and inclusive breakfast. Comfortable rooms -- offset by high-definition cable TVs -- have individual climate control, turndown service and free daily newspapers. Riande Aeropuerto Hotel and Resort also houses a business center with free high-speed Internet access, tennis courts, a gift shop and a casual, grill-style restaurant.

A++++ on their airport shuttle service
I stayed at the Riande two different times for one night each, once when arriving in Panama and once when leaving Panama. In both cases the room was very clean, wireless internet worked fine, and the food was so-so. The shuttle service to/from the airport was excellent. It's a good place to spend one night before/after a flight but I wouldn't stay there longer.

Nice Hotel Near Airport
We were impressed with all of the updates they have made at this hotel. Far better than it was in the past. Beautiful courtyard with pool. Restaurant overlooking courtyard nice. Rooms good. They are really trying to change their image.

Nice hotel, but rather pricey
We stayed at Riande Airport Hotel and Resort as it was the only hotel we could find near the airport. Very nice hotel, but the price is rather high for our budget.

Panama Vacation
This is an excellent hotel, close to Tocumen, for airline travellers who need a stop over at the start or end of a vacation or business trip. The facilities and staff are excellent.

Underwent alot of renovation
This hotel is probably, and objectively a 3.5-4 star in my opinion based on the new renovation it just underwent and its location next to airport is uber-convienient. It is not a close to Casco Viejo and other downtown Panama City Hotels within the same star class, but it is slightly less expensive and closer to airport.

Take shuttle to and from airport, it leaves hourly from lobby but to take from airport you need to call once you clear customs as it takes them literally 10mins to get there tops.

Great place to overnight coming or going to airport
New renovation has cleaned up the place nicely. Clean comfortable. Great pool. Food was good, both dinner and breakfast buffet. This was the second stay and it was better than the first due to the renovation. Will be back.

Remodeled and addition?
I was told they remodeled and it is very nice as long as you get in the upper level rooms. Pretty clean & spiffy although there was a small cockaroach in the shower. HOWEVER we decided to stay in the remodeled rooms after we asked for their handicapped room and saw the old wing of the hotel. Can you say motel 6? If you absolutely have to have a roll in shower it is not worth the $150 a night stay at all. My friend in a wheelchair decided against a shower so he could sleep in a soft comfy bed that are in the newer rooms. After seeing the new rooms and asking about the handicapped room, going to that one, I asked if there was a price difference. There was not, even thought it is conveniently located next to the airport not charging less for rooms in the old wing are a ripoff. The new wing thought was very nice. Comfy beds, big screen tv, very nice pool and restaurant. They have a sushi bar in the lounge and although limited on variety is very good quality. The staff were very nice and helpful. With the exception of seeing that horrible handicapped room the place was beautiful and worth the price to be so close to the airport

Surprise: A neat airport hotel
This was a wonderful hotel... Clean, recently remodeled, contemporary designed rooms; very manicured landscape and upscale restaurants with super food at fair prices. The only downside: too big and firm pillows. Overall a top choice for a near airport stay in Panama City which we recommend to all travelers.
