Esplendor Panama

The beauty of this place is that every room is a suite at average hotel prices. it is a great bargain! The room I stayed in had stylish modern furnishings and a balcony with a mediocre view (views of the ocean from my side were obstructed by taller buildings). Lots of good restaurants within walking distance (about 10 min walk northeast or southwest there are 10+ good options)

this hotel was better than our expectatrons, we took 2 hab. room and was the best election that I could do, the staff is very friendly. the only 2 things bad things we have to say are: breakfast is not only simple, every day is the same and you have not much to choose. And the room cleanliness is not the best.

The property was new and was high end. However, it would appear the high rise was built for condos. I would assume in the looming economy investors scraped the condo idea for a hotel. The management company of the property is pethatic, no sense of urgencey, no attention to detail and little customer service. What a waste of good property. Would not recommend this property under current management.

Front desk staff varies in helpfulness, some just barely do their job while others provide outstanding service. Getting extra towels took a long time. I do love staying in an apartment vs a single room. Within 2 blocks there are 3 very good restaurants and a 24 hour supermarket. Hotel taxis are, of course, double the price of the taxis on the street but the drivers were very nice and we felt very safe with the ones we used.

I was not expecting a suite, let alone one finished as well as this one was. My accommodations were huge! The suite had a full kitchen, 1 1/2 baths, two TVs - the whole nine yards. You can't beat the location either. It is centrally situated so that it is possible to walk to most of the city's treasures. The staff were very helpful. There is a constant flow of taxi's on the street in front of the hotel. Be aware that if you use the hotel's van service, it may cost you 4 - 5 times as much as a taxi.

I have stayed at many hotels around the world and most can't even compare. If you are in Panama City, do yourself a favor and stay here. Gourmet restaurant, perfectly presented food. Oh, and the room, not a room at all, but an apartment. Two baths, kitchen, living room, the works. I don't know about you, but I need a comfy pillow. They've got them! All this and free breakfast. Don't miss out.

Disappointing breakfast, breakfast food which should have been hot was cold or insufficient for the guests as breakfast selections often ran out. Towels were not replaced by the chamber maid and housekeeping very slow to respond when asked for replacements. Duty manager was asked to provide information, but never followed through.

Esplendor Hotel The staff were very professional and eager to assist. Quiet hotel just on the edge of the bank district. All rooms are actually similar to an apartment with a living room, kitcheon, and bedroom. Phenominal view with floor to ceiling windows thoughout.

its noisse so take over floor 12 and administration is lost and have no idea how to manage a hotel
