Two night stay
The view from the room provided was amazing even in winter, overlooking snow covered mountains and a beautiful valley. The staff were extremely polite and courteous. The hotel is generally well maintained with an excellent breakfast buffet and dinner buffet (not included in the price) was very good as well. The negatives were minor, including thin wall separation between rooms so you hope for quiet fellow hoteliers and not a group of boisterous boors. The room wasn't as clean as it should be when we entered with pencil shavings in a corner and used soap in the soap dish. After taxes, the price came to about $189 a night so not cheap by first world standard and fairly exorbitant by third world standard. Still, its definitely worth a visit just for the beautiful view from the rooms itself.

Great service above average hotel
This trip was a mini moon for my wife and I, we got married a few months ago but b\c I live abroad we had not been able to spend a lot of time with each other so this trip was our opportunity to spend time together. The trip was my wifes idea but I picked the hotel :) The hotel staff was great, very friendly, hotel is very safe despite the regional issues, the location is breathtaking. The hotel itself I would not classify as a 5 star but that might b\c I am used to western standards that is why. A couple of maintenance issues came up which really didnt bother us but quicker response to get them corrected would have been nice. Overall the wife and I are already planning a return visit and would happily consider the hotel again.
