A relaxing bussiness trip

I arrived to stay in this hotel for a show I was attending. After hours I enjoyed working out in their well out fitted Gym and then a nice leisurely swim in one of the two pools. Breakfast was buffet with a omelet bar. Coffee was refilled several times while I read the days briefings. All in all a very nice place to stay, although I did not find time to go to their beach. Did enjoy dinner with friends at the Trader Vic's

Sightseeing tip: Short drive from hotel

Muscat is very artistry, much like Santa Barbara, Calif. They have an opera theater near by and their cornice has been redone and is beautiful.

Great pool area

The pool area was great. Breakfast not included and very expensiv, however just a few minutes away there was a number of cafes and small restaurants. Enjoy afternoons on the beach - stroll around, watch hundreds of fotball games along the seaside.

A good place to stay in Muscat

I got an upgrade at a reduced rate on arrivel to the Business Floor which includes free breakfast and access to the business lounge. Free snacks are provided and free alcohol for a time in the evening. The rooms were of no more than average size but comfotable. All rooms have balconies but they are too small to use. If hiring a car at the airport this hotel is not easy to find; there are a number of roads from the airport to Muscat and the hotel is only signpoted on one. The grounds do run down to the beach and it is some miles from the port area of Muscat The hotel has extensive grounds with tennis courts, squash courts and pools and they are not overused in the daytime as this hotel is largely a business hotel used by both local and overseas business people. The food is excellent and reasonably priced. I would sray again.
