Comfort Stavanger was just what I, a lone traveler, needed. Although the room was small by States' standards, it was comfortable and clean.
The central location was a bonus. It was close to everything. I was able to ctch shuttles right out the
front door and the ferries were within a 5 minute walk.
The staff was helpful and courteous. The morning brunch was as good and plentifull as any I've encountered anywhere. I'd stay there again in a heartbeat. Two thumbs-up!
Hotel features (5 = best, 1 = worst):
You might make sandwiches from the hotel's breakfast bar to take with you on excursions aroung Stavanger. Put them in plastic baggies. I'd bring small bags of chip and snacks in my luggage, too. The cost of eats in Norway is off the chart. Also keep your refillable water bottle full at all times. A bottle of water is $6.00.
