The Travelodge Wellington is steps away from the city’s top restaurants, cafes, shops and the spectacular Wellington harbor-front. The hotel represents great value, with comfortable and stylish accommodations in the city center but without the premium price tag. For the convenience of business visitors, there are conference rooms for up to 120 people and a boardroom that accommodates up to 10 people. Fantastic Time
Travelled to Wellington for a vacation and had an amazing time. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful, though I almost never needed them. We actually left our stuff in the hotel with no issues for two days while we travelled to the Christchurch and the West Coast. The hotel was located close to everything and we were able to walk everywhere. We would absolutely stay at the Travelodge Wellington again.

Dining tip:
Short walk from hotel
Avoid the Starbucks, just about every other cafe is better. Look out for Meow's, Fidel's, and Fuel if you need a quick cup. Also, for the best pizza ever try Pomodoro's. It's hidden down some alley but it's worth the search.

Good and clean but VERY TINY room
Good and clean but VERY TINY room for the $140 we paid. Felt it was a bit expensive for the size of the room. Could also hear the people in the room next door.

Lovely accomodation. Shame not
Lovely accomodation. Shame not better parking and also shame got woken up on morning of checkout at 8.30am by housekeeping!

A well located city hotel, with
A well located city hotel, with nice quiet (if basic) room and at a great value price. I am a business traveller who doesn't want to pay for un-necessary frills but do want a good quiet room for the night.

It was awsome place to stay very
It was awsome place to stay very central to the main shopping erea and buses were passing every 10 mins bus went every where. WE HAD only one problem and that was the level 1 going into the hotel Glimmer Place Steps off Lamberton Quay was filthy dirty with cigarette butts and it hadn't been touch in the 3 days we were there.This was disappointing as every thing else was A. will stay again.

Arrived to check in at 3pm....told
Arrived to check in at 3pm....told to comeback in an hour...then waited another 15 minutes. Found a used towel behind the bathroom door and wondered just how clean was the service. All up though, a very good location after you get your bearings and willing front desk staff. i would stay there again.

Good 2 night stay - room not huge
Good 2 night stay - room not huge but perfectly adequate for 2 single ladies. Excellent breakfast and good rate on [this website]. Only downside to this hotel is the lack of airconditioning. All staff we encountered were pleasant and professional. Location was perfect for city exploring, dining and very central. Would stay again if good deal and would recommend to friends.
