A decent 3-star hotel
This is not a 4-star hotel. It is 3 stars at best, primarily because the building is old and worn. I'd guess it is 1960s vintage, and appears not to have been updated since then. The rooms were clean and the location is pretty good (close to the waterfront, national museum, and restaurants). Our mattresses seemed a little too soft and saggy, but perhaps that is a personal preference. Wellington is sometimes windy. We were awakened at 4:00 a.m. by rising winds whistling around the hotel.

Nice boutique hotel, great location
we were stopping over for the night to catch the ferry. Hotel was located near all the restaurants and shopping. The only thing is that the room heating was not on when we arrived and the washroom was very cold with no heating.

Great location, quite comfortable,
Great location, quite comfortable, good staff. We knew that car parking was $15 a night but felt that this was over priced when we found that it was not secure parking and the car park was quite open.
