Takatu Lodge & Vineyard offers a unique experience - the opportunity to stay on a working award-winning vineyard in the heart of charming Matakana, a premium wine-growing and famed farmers-market centre, renowned for its magnificent beaches - and situated less than an hour north of Auckland. The lodge has four very romantic and private luxury suites, all with vineyard views, but two with views to the nearby beach and ocean. All bed linen is of natural fibre, with 100% Egyptian cotton (500-thread) and wool. Generous-sized ensuites. Soak in a double bath using handcrafted bath crystals and candles while overlooking gardens and vines. Beautiful European double wash basins, fittings and separate marble and glass showers were considered with your comfort in mind. Heated floors and mirrors. Accessories (shampoo, conditioner, etc) using natural products and hairdryers are also included. Exquisite bathrobes. Computer outlets, CD stations in every room and LCD TV on request. Yoga mats, organic fruit juice, locally handcrafted organic chocolates, locally roasted coffee, tea (including organic & herbal), fresh fruit and other provisions are complimentary.Therapeutic massage can be arranged on request.
