A pleasant, clean hotel only minutes

A pleasant, clean hotel only minutes walking from the inner town. Friendly and helpful staff. Recommended.

A great location, an interesting

A great location, an interesting room in many respects, but in the middle of winter it was freezing cold. The small wall-mounted heater was of little use, and, unlike other not centrally-heated motels in the South Island, there was no electric blanket. The cold white sheets were punishing every time one dared to move a limb, and we spent a miserable night.
