Very good value

Great Value
Great value for the price. Hotel is simple but very sufficient, with AMAZING views if you get the lake view rooms. The rooms are simple, but mine was equipped with TV, mini-fridge and coffee amenities. The bathroom was big but the shower could be better due to the small sprinkler. It is a short walk to city center, roughly 7 minutes, but a nice stroll nonetheless. The owners were very accommodating and willing to help. But remember this is a lodge, and not a resort or a 5-star hotel. Which I personally think is great, which gives a more "i'm at home" vibe.

Sightseeing tip:
Not Applicable
go to Milford Sound or Doubtful Sound by helicopter or plane. It's worth the money.
