Fantastic place with excellent facilities and breathtaking views. Quite a few kms out from town and along a gravel road which is unfortunate but once you are there, it has everything you could need.

Absolutely stunning resort. The rooms are luxurious and comfortable, the staff can't help you enough. Complimentary champagne on arrival. Was definitely the best accommodation we had during our 2 week holiday on the South Island. Can recommend highly.

For once a place that says they have a double spa bath its correct. a fantastic place would love to go again. we had a great massage. i can't really fault the place.

An exquisite lodge, superb facilities, amazing room with all attention to detail and an incredible view. Service and staff very helful, friendly and very accomodating. Highly recommended. Would stay again. A slice of paradise!

The lodge is a great place if
The lodge is a great place if you want somewhere to wind - down and relax. It is off the beaten track 3km easy driving from the road leading to the Hanmer township. It quiet and secluded with absolutely stunning views of the Hanmer basin and the nearby mountains. Watching the winter sun setting on the mountains from suite panoramic windows is good for the soul.The Hanmer township and thermal pools is only 6km easy drive from the lodge.

Braemar Lodge is a great place
Braemar Lodge is a great place to stay while on vacations. Everything was so perfect, the only disappointment was that it was a bit far from the city centre and the thermal pools.
