Convenient location
This hotel is situated near the airport. A free shuttle service is available and they come quite quickly to pick you up. The staff member that we dealt with the most was very helpful and friendly. The rooms are clean but dated. We had a problem with plumbing and it was fixed by the end of the day.

Good deal close to the airport
Our two separate stays at the Airport Lodge Motel were comfortable and pleasant. We ended up doing some things recommended by the staff that we would have missed. Both times our rooms were actually small apartments with everything necessary for longer stays. the staff was helpful and friendly. Good value, great stay.

Short drive from hotel
Visit downtown Christchurch even though it was ruined by the earthquake a year ago. they have done some innovative things to make do until everything is repaired, rebuilt, etc.. there are wonderful gardens and parks throughout the city.

We loved our stay at this motel!
The room was extremely clean, very hot shower. It was great being greeted by being able to make our own hot chocolate in our room! We had a fully equipped kitchen, but decided to eat out. The motel employees got us a discout on the taxi!

In New Zealand, stay away from all the attractions that cost a lot of money. There are many beautiful walks, and free exhibits to take advantage of. Just plan a little!

Clean and comfortable, the studio
Clean and comfortable, the studio room was ideal for a short stay. Our son's apartment was quite spacious with self-catering facilities. Quite close to airport. There is a free shuttle, but it didn't operate early hours of morning when we arrived - but that was fair enough. Very friendly staff.
