Waterfront hotel with international restaurant and 10 meeting rooms
The Mercure Auckland has a soothing and seductive location right on the waterfront. The calming breezes seem to flow through the lobby with sea-glass green and crisp white colors. All rooms have high-speed Wi-Fi (fees may apply) and many have waterfront views. The Mercure Auckland has 10 conference rooms that can accommodate up to 300 people and a restaurant, The Vue Restaurant and Attica Bar, which features international cuisine for breakfast and dinner. Make online arrangements for airport transfers. Do not let the hotel staff trick you into taking taxi and bargain for the fare. It's a hassle!

We were very happy with our stay. Initially we were allocated a room that we were not that happy with so without any fuss we were moved to the one overlooking the harbour that we had booked and it was super. Staff were very obliging

Overall hotel is clean. Heater
Overall hotel is clean. Heater and tv will auto off and on by itself. Didn't get to watch tv during stay. No entertainment channel on tv.

Excellent location. Lovely views from rooftop restaurant. The only downside was the heater in my room was not working. Luckily there was a portable heater in the closet.

Hotel was in a pretty handy spot.
Hotel was in a pretty handy spot. Service was excellent.Room was ok just abit on the tired side ie. frayed bed covers and bathroom old but double bed was comfortable. Parking expensive as usual in the city.$40. Maybe Hotel Club could do a deal on this and breakfast as well ?

This is an oldish hotel inside
This is an oldish hotel inside but despite that, the room was very clean and comfortable. I wasn't aware of noise from the street despite my room being on the street side. The restaurant view is fabulous and the food was excellent. The stand-out experience was the fantastic service. Nothing was too much trouble throughout my stay, and they even packed all the bags into the car before we got downstairs. 10/10 for customer service all the way.
