Great for the Price
My two friends and I stayed in this hotel for one night, in a 2br unit. Our room was well appointed and quiet, parking on site was easy (though there are limited spaces available and you get charged >$20), and we were within walking distance of the entire Central Business District. The only downsides were that there was no wireless internet onsite (you could pay for wired service -- and who charges for that now?!--but our iPhones and iPad couldn't connect to that) and we were not permitted to delay our departure past the 10a check-out time (we wanted 10:30a or 11a, but no-go). Also, the staff was friendly, but seemed perplexed by pretty simple questions about getting around town. But overall, we had a good experience.

Apartment with all expected appliances
The 2 BR apartment was clean, spacious, and had a kitchen that was sufficient, with only the dishwasher being a mini version. The location was ok, it required a decent walk to get to the center of Auckland but not bad and taxis were freely available.

Great Value
Great value for a 2 bedroom suite! Very clean. The only downside which everyone who posts is the parking. When you offload be prepared to have someone jump out to check in while the other to unload luggage on a cart. The side street is also an entry/exit for another establishment so it was a bit cumbersome to get around other cars. the street in front is right before a light so if there is a lot of traffic and you don't know what is going on you might get frustrated. The parking lot is about 3 blocks away, so we had a family member get the car prior or drop us off while he parked. But this reminds us of NYC so we weren't upset. Other than that the hotel room was nice and spacious for 3 adults and 2 year old. Amenities were great and the restaurant downstairs has great food. The location is great walking distance to everything in downtown Auckland.

Can't remember the name (?Sierra?) of the cafe/restaurant but near the hotel maybe off Fort Street this corner cafe has GREAT breakfasts! We ate there almost everyday we were in New Zealand.

city break
Unfortunately the entranceway does not do this hotel justice in that it looks a bit gloomy, however, the rooms are immaculate, the facilities in them are first class the views of the city superb and everything appears to be brand new. We were delighted to have a spare room to put out our laundry (having been away for a week already) and 2 balconies. Skytower is only 10 mins walk and the seafront just round the corner

Very solid, clean with nice view
Well laid out and comfortable two bedroom with a nice view. Minimal, but workable kitchen for breakfast and cold beer. Comfortable mattresses for all but me (it was too firm for me). Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Parking easy but did add up (although cheaper than the other options and offered in/out service).

Missing Auckland
Very Surprised in a good way
The hotel was very close to the International Passenger Terminal where I disembarked from my cruise from Australia. The service apartment was clean, comfortable, and spacious. I requested a room far from the elevator and on a high floor. I got exactly what I requested. Would definitely stay here again if I ever find my in Auckland.

If you plan on visiting Auckland consider purchasing the 1 day pass on the double decker hop on and off bus. The route covers most of the major sites.

Generous, fully-equipped, top location
Only 5 minutes walk to main shopping/dining and to ferry terminal. Close to railway station & museum! Outstanding apartment, clean, fully equipped, great layout, though entrance & reception of hotel do not show the class of this facility.

Beautiful hotel
I was on holiday in Auckland for a couple of days. My room was beautiful, flawless, and the hotel is in a good location, close to the action downtown. I had read that there was free wireless internet there; there isn't, though the wired connection is not too expensive. Also, the internet in my room was on the fritz, which turned out to be because of a faulty cord. And the person at reception who checked me in was unfriendly/condescending, which was not a great start to my stay there. Those first few hours of "how did I get tricked into paying for such bad service?" is why I give this hotel only 4 stars.
